This is a great thread!!

Sally is my first name as I'm sure most of you know. Of course, it was taken and I can never remember the numbers they suggest like Sally23 or whatever.

So Ca stands for Canada. Or Canadian.

My avatar is my kitty, Bella, sitting on her favorite blankie on my office chair (which matches HH moss leathers) and she is guarding my VCP pomp.

gingeybear....suits me..although I have other nicknames too...(Ursula the Seawitch, Cruella DeVille, and even Eva Braun (my children were so creative from toddlerhood)..dad called me Minky..(long story..my name IRL..plus an episode involving my great aunt's mink coat..with matching scarf..heads and all..and an incinerator..this happened when I was a wee tyke..remember..I'm older than some of you!)

OK..what's with gingeybear..?(sometimes jinjybear..but that looked and sounded too much like something evil out of Aladdin..or 1001 Nights).

It's nickname everyone has given me for as long as I remember..

Gingey..redhead in Hebrew..fairly obvious why..and YES I am (was) a natural born redhead...

Bear..play on my last name IRL..plus I used to make handmade teddy bears for cancer patients until my hands could no longer work with the mohair.

Avatar and siggy reflect my state of mind and will change on a whim.

I am fickle and mercurial in my moods at times..plus when I can't comment verbally, at least to the extent that I want to, I use my avatar and siggy pointedly, for a specific purpose and to make a comment if anyone wants to know how I feel about something or someone.

OH...I have Docendo discimus..one of my favorite Latin sayings.."By teaching, we learn" or "we learn by teaching"..as whatever the heck it is on the personal settings thingie..that too changes depending on my mood!

Timer went off..I have to leave..I explained why on the appropriate hangout thread.

Mine stems from my love of trivia and useful/less information, and just knowledge in general. And most of the screenames have a Q in it, since that's what my first name starts with...childhood was tough

My current avatar is the highly coveted grey shine trophy satchel

Mine is a private joke that's just a tiny bit funny to me and very likely no one else. I felt pressured and came up with it on the spur of the moment -- ha!

I live in a 165-year-old house with no closets, and no closets means precious little storage space for bags or anything else. My bags are in an armoire, along with coats and anything else that has to get hung up. It doesn't take a lot to fill up an armoire before you can't get the doors shut or find anything inside without having to drag everything out. So "no more room" is my mild deterrent to temptation and a reminder that I must continually edit my stuff.

I have no avatar pic right now ... because I am lazy. Will get one soon.

I figured since I change my bags literally everyday practically, and if you were to see my closet; pursegal most definitely fits me...

I have friends who give me cards all the time w/ little gals and lots of bags hanging from their shoulders because they think of me when they see the card...

I love this thread...

Are you serious! That is AWESOME! not so awesome that she was sad but awesome that she was a muse!

My DH is a huge collector of video game memorabilia and he went to a show at gallery 1988. It was a whole show from different artists who were influenced by video games.Luke chueh did a painting of bubble bobble. My DH took a million pictures of that painting. So I googled him and found out I liked his stuff. I'd love to meet him. I hear he his the quiet / strange vibe type.

Yea, he's a pretty quiet guy. He looked really shy and would smile if you smiled at him. I think he followed around Monica since she was showing him around.

Then there's david choe, the graffiti/fine artist. He's fun too/kinda ADD. Dances like a zombie

WOW that is a cool drawing! THAT is awesome! It kind of reminds me of southpaw(s)

David Choe's art is interesting. I like the scale that artists with a graffiti background use. They work big scale. I'm fascinated on how to do that. I normally work small but I'm working on some larger scale pieces.

MissA, I LOVE that pic of you! What a little hottie you were! Love the big blonde hair!

Thuy, I LOVE your pic, too... For some reason I thought we asked you if it was you before and you said it wasn't... maybe there was a similar photo you posted awhile back? And too cool about that artiste following your friend and using her as a muse!

Another easy one: Clutched refers to my preference of clutches. Clutched was the version of this that was not already taken. I didn't have an avatar before this thread (I've been slowly dipping my toe in the pool here) but I added one. It is a picture of my oldest son taken a few years ago in the mercado. We had just finished a wonderful meal al fresco and were enjoying the night. It was January and in the mid 70's. I love that about our weather. Sandals year round! I added the Namaste for the meaning and to remind myself to get up from here and go to yoga!

Miss A, love your picture!

JWhit, I'm a vegg too!
