It's so funny, in my head I pronounce it like a word now, "Enga." Like another name for myself, which is cool, since "Nicole" is sooo boring, mid-80's everyone was named that kinda name!

Love this idea my chicas...MINE IS SO BORING IT'S not even funny. I was fascinated with the word cherub in middle school and when AOL came out, I created my username.. cherubic Anh. That's it, a word in front of my name. LOL....I know..it's boring...if I could change it now...it would be MsBombdiggity. I went through a phase where that was what I'd say to people I met. Hi" I'm Anh Bombdiggity!" It was when I worked for Toyota and traveled around the region. I'd meet tons of people in the entertainment and media industry and felt the bombdiggity made my name more memorable. I still think my name is quite boring. People would call me Ms. B.
![]() As for my pic, it's of my man and I on New Years eve 2 years ago when we moved to San Diego. I still love that pic! |

I signed on to tPF in '06, when I found a Hermes Bag in a thrift shop and knew it was something special. DH and I started googling and came across tPF in seeking help for authenticating it. In our haste to get signed on we just quickly chose the first 2 letters of his name (Terry) and the first 2 letters of my name (Molly). I certainly didn't know that 3 years later I would still be here! I change my avatar a lot, but right now it is the elusive Bernardin Flap Day Bag that I have been dreaming about owning ever since the first glimpse of it about a year and a half ago. I don't know why it continues to elude me. Perhaps soon ? . . ? . . ?

My avatar name came from my discovery of tPF. Like Temo, I found the forum when looking at handbags on eBay. i saw listings that said TPF at the end of the item title. I knew what EUC and NWT meant...but not TPF. I googled "TPF" and discovered it was a handbag forum. I joined to check the authenticity of a couple of bags I was looking at - I wanted to find out if they were the "Real McCoy". So, that is where the name came from - my reason for discovering tPF.
My caption under the member name is pretty much self-explanatory. I am...oh, I would say... a bit wordy at times... or perhaps, verbose? I rarely can do a one-sentence post. I admire that in my fellow HHH. I mean it. I think our Gingey is the only one who posts longer posts than I do. I've been here since 08 and feel like I've done alot of posting, but it is only like 1700 posts - because I keep wanting to add "just one more word". My current avatar photo...well, you all know that I am one of the British Racing Green committee dedicated to sublimal messaging to HH that we want GREEN. And, of course, the wonderful Trophy Bag! |

The Ambassador part is for two reasons: 1) I would like to have a diplomatic position for the Red Cross and/or another healthcare relief agency to Central America one day (I have wanted this since I was a child) and 2) I was a student Ambassdor for my university as an undergrad- great experience. The Bri part- the first 3 letters of my name!
My Avatar is a photo of my one and only child- my 2.5 year old Shih Tzu named Moto; my husband has always been into motocross, etc. and that is how we met, so we named him Moto the day we brought him home (he was 6 weeks old). He IS THE "baby," and quite possibly the funniest pet I've ever had. I adore him. |

Mine is perhaps the most EXCITING of them all.... NOT!
I have the hardest time remember using names for online bill pays, bank accounts, Yahoo groups, etc. So it's always some combination of my boring a$$ name.... so jwhitlock stands for Jennifer Whitlock. Every time I try to get "creative" I wind up forgetting what I used, then have to start all over again! My avatar is Super Woman b/c a few years back my sister gave me a hysterical Christmas present. It was a Superwoman barbie doll--- and she had purchased Subway gift certificates to wrap around her body. My sister thought I was pretty "powerful" with all I do: raise two kids, run a company, coach sports, etc. And Subway was my favorite "fast food" place because I'm a vegetarian, so she combined the two! It was really quite a hysterical gift! I'm such a dork with ZERO creativity!!! |

I am loving this, "pigalle" is actually my favorite lipstick color from Nars, but someone told me it's a famous district in Paris too (yet to go there) and Louboutin has named one of his shoes pigalle too. I can't reveal what 74 stands for because it will give out my age (and no I'm not 74, yet)- okay, you already have figured out how old I am....
And all you hotties already know what my avatar is...crossing my fingers to get my hands on that bag. |

Kate is (was) my first agility partner and who I'd be if I could be anyone else; 83675 is one of her registration numbers. At agility class and trials you get used to answering to your dog's name so it was a natural choice to use if I wasn't using my own name.
She was always way cooler, smarter, and a much better athlete than I am (and knew it); as well as being a smart-alec and nowhere near as serious as this photo makes her appear. We had a lot of fun together. |

ooh i love this thread cho! You always come up with cute, fun threads
![]() I'm the same as cherubicanh, had to think of a screename for AIM back in highschool and it's stuck then (well, I use the old alias where I want to remain somewhat anonymous, lol). missty4 is a contraction of 2 words: miss thuy --> missty. I think missty was taken at the time, so I threw in 4, I forgot the reason behind it. Maybe the words miss and thuy both are 4 letters long - I dunno. My avatar is a shot of me running bladerunner style, taken at roppongi hills in tokyo, japan. I forced my friend to take it for me after I preset everything for him - made him take a lot of shots too, poor guy/good sport. Jennirane knows exactly what it is ![]() lulu - luke chueh's a funny guy! He was in Portland a couple times and followed around my friend a bit, immortalizing her as a sad bear in his drawings, lol. I love the name, yoji, paelaf! Always think of yohji yamamato

^^^ aww, I love Kate.
![]() And I also love Yoji!! And your photo, missty. OK, I am Angie, née Angela (which was, of course, taken - so was Angelica), but everyone calls me some bastardized form of Angela including Angelina, Gina, GiGi, and Agice. ![]() Current avatar is me in 1985, in my friend's '67 Mustang. I was 15. My mom took the pic and it's one of my favorites. |

Great idea for a thread, Cho! Some names I'd figured out a bit of, but others were a mystery... I also think it's funny how we'll make a nickname if one isn't provided (like Cho)
![]() Mine's basically like Carlie's... Jennifer Rane (pronounced like "rain", a combo of my parents' middle names). I don't know if JWhitlock (hiya!) is of the same Gen-X crop of "Jennifers" but there are a MILLION of us, so nicknames are very important. I've been "Nif" or "Niffer" in addition to the permutations of Jennifer, but "Jennirane" was what my best friend in HS called me... she'd sing it to me as if she was singing the Beatles' "Penny Lane" (so "Jennirane is in my ears and in my eyes...") so it stuck :) Gen-X Jennifers have "Love Story" to thank... Current avatar, needing to change, is Delicate Arch in Arches National Park just an hour and a half from us in Utah. It's me glaring at it trying to figure out how to capture the snow-capped La Salle mtns in the background, framed by the arch. Photogs hike up to Delicate at sundown every day of the year... it's a steep hike, so going back down in the dark is always fun. And you should see the gear people haul up there... I've seen Japanese tourists with suitcases full of Hasselblad lenses
