Oh, that one is sort of embarrassing! I was watching a marathon of miami ink one day and loved Yoji (on the show)...and loved his name...I was like, "this would make such a great name for a pet! The next pet we get we're naming Yoji!" And then when we got him (around 6 months later?) I tried the name out and it just worked! His other possible name was Nico (Not HH-related LOL) but DF gave that one the axe.

Mine is pretty boring and something that I've been using forever too. I was trying for brimc (3 letters first name, 2 letters last name) but the only available username was brimac327. Yeah, so whatever I was signing up for at the time already had 326 brimacs. Weird.

And my avatar is pretty self explanatory. DH is away right now and I just wanted to show my support.

Brimac, I sooo wanted to know your meaning because the numbers 723 are special to me, and yours is reversed..but I always take those 3 numbers as some sort of sign (I'm kinda superstitious sometimes)... so I always take notice of your posts because of the numbers..

Oh, sorry for the confusion leo. He's not deployed. He is at Parris Island, Drill Instructor school. He's having a hard time, they're basically treating him like a recruit all over again..lol. And when he's stressed, I'm stressed. The kids and I are staying in VA the entire time he will be down in PI. So, 3 years apart is not looking too nice right now. Hopefully he'll get some time off in between cycles.

Booorring as they get! I first used it when I found out I was preggers w. #2 (we'd already picked out his name--Armand, love it, never had a girl's name b.c. we knew it'd be another boy, lol) and was signing up somewhere... after that I used it everywhere else I signed up.

My avatar pic is Paelaf's pic of the Euc. Origami hanging in the store... my inspiration/motivation for nabbing the last one from HH!

"Smell the Hope!" and "very thin ice" are both from the "Auto Tune the News" channel on Youtube. I LOVE those guys/gal!!! OMG, must thank LULU for mentioning it here and getting me hooked!!! They use a computer program to change speech from news channels and politics to make song mash-ups of current events!!!

I don't speak Russian. My name came from one of my best friends many years ago. His name is Roman and his family escaped from Russia when he was 5 and his dad invented the ear thermometer, a bunch of other things and wrote a book that they use to teach physics pretty much everywhere and Roman was an olympic ice skater and his mom was in the russian conservatory and played the violin and pretty sure she was in a White SNake music video on MTV in the 80s. Anyways, and his dad has a chinchilla and paints oil paintings of women in the shape of violins.

So when Romans mom wanted to be emphatic she'd call him Romichka (you have to roll your Rs and say it you know, like you're Russian). And I said that is so cute your mom calls you Romeeshka, and then I started calling him Meeeshka and our friends in LA asked how come I called him Meeshka and he said because she's a little Mishka. Then since I was a DJ with no DJ name yet, I started using the name Little Mishka, and then a buncha years went by and I don't DJ anymore really and I'm not exactly little, but the name stuck.

Oh and there are these candies too. They're made in Brooklyn I'm pretty sure. At least that's what I heard.
