Ok, I feel the need to rant. I just received a bunch of boxes today from HH. Out of the dozen pairs I ordered, this pair I really really was looking forward to..the memphis pumps in MB!

I ordered a 5.5 back in August as size 6 was sold out, being desperate, I still got it anyways. So I was really excited when I went to pick them up after those boxes have been shipped from Eastcoast to Westcoast twice and back. I open the box to try on, I was pleasantly surprised to find both shoes were marked size 6 as I was pretty sure 5.5 would be too tight. (The box was marked 5 1/2.) A moment later, looking at them side by side, I realized they are two right shoes. I still tried them on anyhow, contemplating if I can get away with two right shoes, SO thought I was crazy. So back in the UPS truck it went.

I remember someone wrote about getting two of the same shoe, I couldn't find that thread, was it the same pair??

Excuse my poor use of English language at near 5am in the morning. OK i'm off to bed.

That happened to me too a couple months ago. It was 2 right shoes too. I called them and they were able to track the other one down. How does this happen? For this to happen twice is unacceptable. I bet this has happened more than we know about. Even a little kid can tell the difference between a left and right shoe! Why don't they check what they are sending? They just throw stuff in the box without looking at it. I am so sorry that this happened to you. I hope they can find the other one for you. It was the Mercury wedges I bought.

I'd call/email stat! Nikki's right; I bet that the other shoe's just waiting to drop!

I agree-- that mix-up is just unnecessary...i mean they're SHOES for gosh-sakes, and when you buy a pair it's always one RIGHT, one LEFT.

Holy Bajoley!!! That is just ridiculous. How the heck does that happen? Every shoe store I have ever been in, checks the shoes before bagging them up to be sure they are the same size and are 1 right & 1 left. Just unbelievable!!! I do hope the find they mate and you are happy in the end. So sorry for your troubles.

I'm sorry- those MB memphis pumps are gorgeous - thank god they sent me both left and right shoes. I sometimes wonder what the H they're doing over there. sometimes they're awesome and other times they leave me speechless

Holy crud... the wonders of QUALITY ASSURANCE at HH continue to baffle me. This is one for the books!

My Athenas arrived from the Flash Sale and honestly look like they have already been worn. WTH?

I do have to say I was laughing when you said you contemplated trying to wear to right shoes!! Only such a fashion maven would try something like that!

nikki is right about even kids know the difference in left and right shoes, perhaps they should get some 4 year olds in there to help out?
