One of the teachers I work with actually had her half slip (with stretched out elastic) fall off while she was writing on the board. The students were horrified in a fascinated sort of way. Some of them had never even heard of a half slip and assumed it was her drawers.

M, I have the best luck thrifting right by my house! Today I found a pair of Stuart Weizmann pointy suede flats w tassels for $15! And some hawt Liz Claiborne pumps for $7! And on Saturdays they do a special on the color o the week. Usually it's half price but on sat theyre all 69 cents! I found a bunch of loooooong skirts w the 69 cent tags, and so happy bc the boss' wife doesn't like me even slightly having my skirt around knee level. Too sexy, I guess!

Count me in as a big EF fan. The clothes do last and are amazing and so comfy!

The funny thing is that the dress was neither bare nor low cut, so it wasn't designed to particularly showcase your assets.

It's a Marc Jacobs navy blue satin tea length dress with an empire waist and sweetheart neckline. It actually buttons up to a high-ish satin ruffled collar, but the bodice and short, slightly puffed sleeves are a sheer navy blue chiffon netting.

Maybe the netting cast alluring shadows across my vintage bosom.

I also wore the prettiest round toed navy blue glitter pumps from Target (online only). I've recently been obsessed with Miu Miu glitter pumps and booties, but don't have the spare $750 laying around, so I bought Target's $30 alternative. They were extremely wearable for such dramatically high heels, but they run big, and I wore a full size smaller.

Stormy - the kitties share beds. They have a ton but their favorite is 20+ yrs old so I figure I should start introducing new ones soon.

I'm so behind in all the threads. I thought I would share that about a month ago I got a jerome dreyfuss Albert in bottle green. I've been wearing it for a month straight now. The strap is adjustable so I can wear it high hip crossbody or as a shoulder bag. 3 compartments inside (1 snap compartment, 1 open, 1 zipper) I also recently got the Mulberry Calf Hair Leopard Alexa & a Mulberry Postman's lock satchel. The alexa isn't love for me. The leopard feels like it's a bit over the top. The Black spongy leather postman's lock satchel is such a grown up bag. It almost feels too grown up for me. I'll have to take some pics of that one. Both bags are kind of hard to get stuff in and out of. HH has really spoiled us with all the interior cell pockets. I feel so lost without those.

The JD looks lovely. I am amazed by how unpockety so many high end bags are. I realize I am lost without a couple of pockets for phone and keys. I think of leopard as a bit over the top too but Mary at 49 sq mi said that they sell well when they have it in. My Nordies had in the window during the sale a leopard print tote that really reminded me of the HH Pm one.

I believe you can climb well enough that standing like that is as natural as a headstand, easy as downward dog.. And who knows, maybe painmeds bring out the stuntwoman in you! Nothing is impossible for the most interesting woman in the world.

The leopard looks really cool, but the rest of the outfit would have be really subdued. I have a clutch in that leather that I am very shy about carrying.
I am still not ready for 'grown up', mature bags. if it hasn't happened yet, it never will. I have ditched all those that feel like that. We are spoiled, though, I agree. It's so easy to switch between hh bags with dependable organization. Same stuff goes in same pockets, no matter the style (except gaza!).

hellolulu is on fab.com today with supercute camera bags. I am tempted by this one but am torn between black and the reddish one. I'm concerned that the reddish one will turn out to be way too pink. I'm alos considering 1 size so that I could put regular purse things in too. Any opinions?

Nice find! I think the strawberry looks too wild, but easy to find among luggage. It would clash with your red leather collection. Could you get the black and jazz it up a little ?
