^^ I'd like to try one out. I know I'm going to feel like it's huge but I'm going to think of it as I'm wearing a huge piece of art.
I'm really trying not to go crazy or overboard on PM stuff (ah, lulu a little late for that) LOL There are these Red Hugues Pillows on ebay right now and I've watched them go thru 3 cycles without being purchased. Someone plz put me out of my misery. 2 Brunschwig "Hughes Capet" Custom Lumbar Pillows - eBay (item 120417875773 end time Aug-06-09 13:49:10 PDT) |

those are awesome, lu, but lord aren't they expensive? Maybe send the seller a message and see if they're willing to negotiate a little?

^^ I should at least ask. I never thought of that Thanks Leo :)
Bam- Your such an enabler. LOL I can't decide which size I want there are queen and lumbar sized ones available.Either way I have to wait to purchase until I get my reimbursement from work for travel expenses. A last minute flight Australia and hotel and other travel expenses really ate a huge hole in my wallet. |

Hi Hotties, I'm back from Europe and my computer is fixed!
My KP corco, TP Pilot, and GZ keyfob accompanied me everywhere and were fantastic. I had a great time. Was hoping the Fall line would be coming out when I got back, but apparently not yet... |

OK, Faf... cough it up!
Best museum? Best street food meal? Best train station? Best fashion moment? Best "I can find my way around!" moment? Best mom moment? Best "this is what travel is all about" moment? |

YOU, missy, can answer the same questions about Oz! Anthony Bourdain just did a No Reservations in Melbourne and it just made me miss it so much. Where'd you go? What did you see?

Best museum: I love museums, so this is a hard one. All time fave is (predictably) the Louvre, but I also love the Cluny in Paris ("Lady and the Unicorn" tapestries), the Kunsthistorisches in Vienna, the San Marco Monastery in Florence (monks' cells painted with frescoes by Fra Angelico), and the National Gallery in London. The Freud Museum in Vienna has my vote as most off-beat. Street Food: We got gyros sandwiches in Paris and ate them in the park just behind Notre Dame cathedral one perfect evening. They were very tasty. Also Amori Gelato on the Ile St Louis. We did a taste test and decided it was better than Bertillion (bigger portions, served artistically, and amazing flavors-- I had White Peach, and I still start drooling when I think of it). Best train station: They ALL seemed to be under construction, so they're looking pretty ugly, and they're all ripping out the benches, so there's no place to sit. But Florence still has the old flip-style schedule boards, which I love, and it had policemen on Segways, which was cute. Fashion moment: finding the MUJI store in London on Tottenham Court Road. I love their stuff. And the women in Vienna, they are so elegant. Finding my way around: On my last morning in Paris, I was out shopping on my own (hunting down the Eric Kayser bakery in the Latin Quarter and picking up some Avene skin care) when I got stopped and asked for directions. Twice. I can't say I was helpful, but I obviously looked like I could be! Best "mom" moment: Playing cards with my kids every night (we were too tired to go out). We got really punchy most nights and very silly. Best travel moment: So many!!: lying on my berth on the Paris- Rome overnight train, listening to Chet Baker and Nina Simone ("My Baby Just Cares for Me" is perfect for train travel) on my iPod, watching the countryside roll by. OR, breakfast at the Cafe Hawelka in Vienna, a perfect shabby-bohemian cafe. We sat in a velvet-upholstered booth in the window on a Sunday morning, had fresh, warm apricot cake and Viennese coffee. Of course, seeing the Da Vincis in the Louvre, and the Sistine Chapel ceiling, and the David in Florence were pretty good too. I just want to say again how perfect my KP Corco was. I used it as my carryon bag on the plane and as my everyday purse. It still looks great. My kids dubbed it "The Magic Bag" because it seemed to carry everything, had room for more, and was never too heavy, not to mention how chic it looks! I think I'll have to send Toni and Ben a little love note. ![]()

My biggest fashion regret was not getting the Thea dress before I left. It would have been just right for hanging around the Forum and Versailles. At least it is on the way now (I ordered it yesterday when I saw the price had dropped under $50)!
