I'm not snarky. Just matter of fact. The fact is every other forum does it, no one is given special privileges as we were accused of doing.

I couldn't "remind" you, the original post says itself it doesn't have to be HH related.
We weren't mean and no one intentionally "blindsided" anyone.

There's just no need to make a mountain out of a molehill

Alright girls, I've cooled down, dusted myself off and I AM BACK TO HANGOUT!! Let's talk!!
Anyone snag something in the Latina mag sale?
Also, I was dreaming of going to the trunk sale tomorrow, but I'm wondering if it'll even be worth it... Anyone have any experience with HH trunk sales?
I've been rocking my Anthracite Tharpe..what a beauty...so many pockets, I'm going to have to start collecting junk in my bag to use up every pocket!!
Oh and this -
H-H HOTTIES ROCK!!

I hardly ever come to this section of the forum, I don't think very many of the girls in our forum do either.
If you guys have any suggestions you can post in the feedback dropbox, but I don't really see this thread getting much activity here and I sure don't have a solution. That's too bad...
I tried, but we are here for good! I def. caused to many waves this weekend, so this is the home of the thread..like it or not...Oh if only I could edit ONE line of the original post...
But - Let's make the most of it... I'm tired of
.
.
( I love that smiley!!)

Trunk sale? Oooo...I missed something exciting. I don't have an HH yet, but I want one. Does severe drooling count? The Floripa black patent clutch...well, I love it.

Okay HHHotties....as promised, I'm here to "formally" introduce myself...

dcblam....or blam blam -
I've been on this darned site for well over a year and it's PURE ADDICTION. Bags have always held an attraction for me but I was not a purchaser of current purses......I used my vntage bags that I have collected over the years. Well, for some reason, I decided it was high time that I got something new and something "nice" and ventured into retailers and was shocked at how expensive "nice" was......

And somehow, I landed here at TPF and landed on
"Hayden Harnett-ville". The LUV began.....

Profile: I am 48 years young and like India I wonder how in the heck did I get to be this age.....?
I "retired" from corporate America 8 years ago and am still lovin' it, though at times I do get a bit restless and wonder what will I do in my "next life"???? DH is still totally supportive of my not so new "supportive" role. I was lucky in that I got the opportunity to succeed in the corporate world, so I have no regrets at leaving.
I am a SAHDM (stay at home dog mom) to my eight year old "center of the universe" canine. (cho...I can completely understand ALL of your marks/scars...I gots 'em too!)
I am a docent at several museums, mostly focused on art, history and architecture...the Smithsonians Portrait Gallery is one and the others are pretty obscure (one is The Society of the Cincinnati - now, I wonder who else knows of this group????)
I am a gym rat, though my mobility has been hampered a bit this year with two arthroscopic knee surgeries plus related issues that still need to be "tended to".......so - if anyone wants to know about being scoped, I'm your "go to gal"

What gets me goin'?
Politics (yes, I know it is a NO NO to discuss)
Travel
Food (from shopping to cooking to eating)
Art/History/Design, etc.
A sense of humor
Kindness and consideration

Of course, the canine and DH (dear hubby) who really doesn't understand this purse obsession....BUT he understands my love of HH!!!

BUT, what really keeps me here is the FANTASTIC camaraderie
that we have with eachother. We come from everywhere ("spanning the globe" showing my age with this reference to Wild World of Sports!) with different backgrounds, interests and ages...but we have something special in common. I LIKIE! Kewl.....it's the hippy era coming out!!!
Woot woot!
Luv ya Hotties!

53 year old attorney. Currently unattached.

I admit it...I had almost no serious interest in handbags until I arrived on tpf. I admired BBags for a few months then suddenly got sucked in to HH madness during the August sale last year. 14 months, and 25 bags later, I can say with confidence:

I am an HH Ho(ttie)!

hey bag-sis.......
You ARE a HO(ttie)!!!

We're sunk....AND, it's not just the bags for me.....it's practically their whole line-up. I just love their aesthetic/vibe AND that they are socially/culturally/politically engaged. They are still a small, struggling company that needs support and we, yes us crazy Ho(tties) can actually make a difference by buying from them. This makes me happy!

I've bought more clothes and accessories from them lately and can totally see myself as their walking billboard! LOL.

When I saw the 2009 line up w/their clothes and accessories...ugh, just too tempting. I am trying my best to exhibit fiscal discipline. Money will be spent...but not right now.

Yes, I am so loving the clothes and accessories. I am going to take a lot of my closet to the consignment store in preparation for HH spring.
