I'm 29 yrs old, i have two kids my oldest 7 and my youngest 4. I always get comment from people like are they your kids, yes they are and i'm not under 18. I have been with my DH for 8 yrs and he isn't a fan of me loving purse so much. Really i'm not a fan of him loving race car either.
Since i'm a Graphic Designer, my first love is designs. I designs scrapbook papers for a few company including autumn leaves, imaginisce and bo bunny. I also designs tons of photocards and also have a digital scrapbooking store. I know you guys are like huh LOL but i love love love to tell people what i do since it is my passion. My second love which don't make me any money but make me bankrupt is purses LOL. I stumble into the purseforum not so long ago and learn alllll this great brands that i have never heard of. I mean before i only know typical popular brand like Coach, LV, kinda brand. If it wasn't for TPF i wouldn't have learn of HH. I just recently bought a Gray Havana, boy am I in love with her. IN fact I want the same collection SEP have. I want her whole rainbows of Havana. I am looking forward to HH new line. I check ebay EVERYDAY to see if they have any hard to find HH. Althought i banned myself i couldn't stop looking on ebay hopping i didn't missed out on the bag i want. I also am eyeing on a Lorca. I hope to own one one of this days. Ok there you go. ~Mindy~ |

Hi, my name is Cassie... And I'm an HHaholic.
lol I have a lorca & clutch wallet in anthracite, a black mosa, a winter white bungalow, currant nico, oyster mercer, pan-am tote, small erol tote, pallenburg clutch.... SO if you need to know anything about any of these, or would like to see a pic- just ask! I'm a happy enabler! Oh and about me... Umm I'm 20. Married for two years this month! My husband has mixed opinions about my bag obsessions, but he does seem to be embracing them as he bought me my mercer for my birthday ![]() I live in Maryland and have for most of my life, though I've also lived in FL, TN & NY. In January I'm moving to San Diego, CA and am veeery excited! I have two dogs, one big black mutt that my husband adopted from a shelter in Baltimore and we both love dearly, and my 9 month old puppy Gyles who is a Shiba Inu... And a spaz. You might notice some bodily scratches and other random marks in my pictures, no my husband does not beat me, my puppy does. EVIL! Anyway - I'm glad we finally have a chat thread cause I'm not a big talker but I am a big typer, and I would love to get to know more about all of you. We're a very diverse community, it seems - from all different places and backrounds, I'm sure there are lots of interesting things about all of us to share! |

Me? I am 48 physically, about 32 mentally, and love these things, in no particular order:
Reading: (Authors: Stephen King, Nora Roberts/JD Robb, John Sandford, many others) Writing: (I have a book 98% completed and that was six years ago*; I keep a journal and have since I was about six); I do have a blog but the poor thing has gone by the wayside since I found tPF Creative Design: (Calligraphy, pen and ink, painting on leather, making things work, I have TOOLS!**) **Making Things Work Handbags: 25 at last count, which is why I am on a ban until I can bear to part with one or two or ten. Majority are by Hayden-Harnett, but only two styles ![]() Computers: (Not Macs, Computers) Colors: Red, purple, hunter green, yellow (think daffodil, not sunshine), cobalt, many others Husband: Mark, of just over 10 years Cat: Taz, also of just over 10 years - I found him as a tiny kitten at the shelter waiting for me, can you believe it? Sunny days and green trees and warm breezes and blue water: I really don't live in Minnesota, you believe that? Of course not. I am employed by a large judicial agency for a state that shall remain nameless working as a (insert long title of someone who fixes computer problems***), which means I fix computer issues on a grand scale. I would be more specific but that means I could be found and shot more easily. I have a sense of humor that does not always translate well in the written medium. I like things well organized. I mean well organized. That must therefore mean that I have a Type A personality. I think it means I am just me. There's more, but that's enough for now. *Cindy, I forgot to tell you ![]() ***It's pretty specific to the judicial agency I work for, and if somebody Googled it, I'd be identified, and then found and shot**** ****Or relieved of my position since I do a lot of multitasking and they wouldn't believe I was earning my pay whilst chatting on tPF |

Hi all!! My name is Tina and I am in my late 20's. I'm also a freelance makeup artist, so my first love is cosmetics and skin care. I am also a huge fan of handbags, and discovered TPF when I was googling a particular handbag. I love this forum, it is so informative and I have learned so much.
Ever since my discovery of TPF, my handbag collection has grown tremendously. I currently have about 8 HH after selling a couple that didn't work for me. My fave HH style is the Havana and I want one in every color!! I am also a huge animal lover, although at the moment I am petless due to my living in a pet free apartment. I love hearing and looking at everyone's pets. I am also a huge bagaholic :) |

Hey there, y'all. I'm probably one of those who disappeared for a while.
Like I may have said on another thread, I got caught up with Rebecca Minkoff bags. But after things got ugly on the sub-forum one too many times and it looked like the company was having big issues, I had had enough. Since I never fell out of love with HH to begin with, I came right here. I read all the threads, but don't always have something to say. That's me - if I have nothing to say, I just stay quiet. But I'm here!Anyway! I'm in my mid-thirties, have 3 children, and a husband. I'm a 2nd grade teacher, though I often question that decision! Not an easy job by any stretch of the imagination, but I also get to do silly things, like putting students' pictures on little alien bodies and hanging them up in the room. It's the little things that keep me laughing; my co-workers think I'm nuts sometimes.I keep thinking I've reached my bag saturation point, but I always find something new. I take care of that urge by being strict with myself and selling bags I don't use enough. Got my eye on another HH from the spring line! Oh!! And I'm glad we got away from the "HH Hos" stuff. I can't call myself a "ho," no matter what. I guess I'm not in the generation that thinks that term is okay! |

india - Some of the people in these offices are so computer illiterate it's ridiculous... As in they don't even know how to change their password when it expires... Every four months! I have a great appreciation for the folks who fix (real) computer problems, though. Some people don't realize how much they rely on it until they can't get to the documents they need (I might be totally off base about what you do, lol - let me know) & It's amazing that you are that far into your book! I would have one by now if were only as easy as writing things down as they come to you, and it's really not... So I'm in awe that you've gotten so far!
kings_20 - I'd love to see some of the things you do! I can only do the most basic of makeup and am usually too lazy to put real effort into it if I wear it at all. But sometimes I see amazing makeup and I think to myself, "God, if I had talent like that, I'd be made up every day"! & I discovered TPF when googling uggs back in... January? lol I wonder if most people are here due to word of mouth or just random internet searches... hmmm fabae - I saw some post RM made herself apologizing about the customer service issues, is that what you're referring to? It really sucks when a great brand doesn't back itself with great employees. Truly though, we'd love to hear anything you have to say here in the HH forum, I think we're all just a bunch of cool easy-going gals! |

But I will let you ladies know if/when I finish the book - you all can be my editors. I'll post the rough draft on my web site at that time.

That's what I do, among other things. I also have about 20 clients left (I closed my consulting biz to go to work for the state) who I still support, evenings and weekends. Luckily, they are highly trainable, so they don't call often. Part of the reason I closed up - I was too good about showing people how to fix their issues and keep them fixed. I put myself out of business!
My motto was "We Speak English, Not Geek", which I still apply when helping customers.Re: Writing a book - no, it's not easy. Or rather, it is - but you have to give birth to it, and that's the hard part. I didn't understand that until I got to that point. |

This is a great idea. I'm gonna write something offline and then post. It's Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend, so I'll be off to the country where there's no internets but lots of turkey and moose hunting. Have a great weekend!

Hey Hotties!
My name is Toni and I'm a 41 y/o RN. I love beautiful leather bags and did so even as a child. I have or have had Gucci, LV, Ferragamo, Gryson, RM, Goldenbleu, LP, MbMJ, MbMK, Cole Haan, Bulga, Botkier, KS, IF and of course HH! I love HH for the beautiful leathers and fine detailing. AND, they have the most outrageous sales! I'm glad to see the development of this subforum and hope it remains a welcoming place to visit and share a positive or not so positive HH experience. I read all the threads and only comment usually. I even feel a bit of withdrawal after we've all received our latest purchases and everyone is mellowing out, trying to regroup. HH sales are hard work...I recall staying up past midnight...frantically refreshing, LOL. |

People had to actually declare theat they would not be buying anymore RM bags until anything was done to fix the issues. And, no, no company "owes" their customer base an apology, but that only goes so far when it appears the statement is only made when you need to save your own @$$, KWIM? It didn't feel like a genuine apology - it sounded like there were ulterior motives. I guess it would have meant more if RM, who declares a presence on tPF and so surely knew of the complaints, had fixed her quality and CS issues earlier on, instead of letting it get to that point. I hold no ill feelings (like I keep saying, they're just bags); it's just not a company I want to support. Hope I didn't step on toes. Just stating my view.
