Mama is great. Glam-Mama is upset, as any grandma would be when her adolescent daughter gets randomly knocked up. I feel a little bad for my baby.. But she's such a good girl.

8 gorgeous pups, Mama (my little innocent Chubsy Ubsy) is doing great. I have no idea how she had 8 pups in there. Meanwhile up until a couple days ago, DH just thought she was really really fat!!!!!!! I blame him. *SIGH*

It will work out in the end, DH is very particular as far as potential dog owners. And adopting/selling never seems to be a problem.

Chubsy Ubsy is an Octomom! Congrats to her on those gorgeous pups. They look so sweet.

Not as miraculous as unexpected puppies, but while I was in Denver my SIL and I made a quilt (queen-sized for mine and DH's bed). It was an incredible experience! I still have to hem the binding... that's today's job. I hope there's an afternoon baseball game on I can watch while I do it! I designed it and did most of the cutting, and support things that I could; Sue pieced it and did the free-motion machine quilting: Here are the front and back and a few details

Cho!!! They're adorable, of course. I love it when they're all lined up like that hugging each other. Ooooh puppy breath! You're cracking me up with the teenaged daughter bit

VV: Do you love it? Like loooooove it???!!! See what I mean about that center pocket? You can just keep your hand in there all day, running that lining between your fingers. Reminds me of when Bon was little and would wander off in department stores... we'd find her in the middle of a rounder of nylon nighties, reveling in how soft they were.

I started to say "look what you can do when you're avoiding an HH sale!"
Nah... it was just a fuzzy idea in my head; Sue made it come to life. She is unbelievable. Whenever it got wonky (my cutting) she'd straighten it. I kept telling her she was so good she could "straighten out the US army" or "straighten out a San Fran gay pride parade" or "straighten a Nascar track". It was pretty funny. She's a dynamo.

I LOVE Anthro's bedding, BTW, but DH couldn't go that far... our bedroom is pretty minimalist IKEA (Asian-look platform bed) and the quilt's perfect in it.

Jenni, that quilt is amazing! I'm always impresses with people who have those kind of skills. Sadly, I have none.

Cho, the puppies are adorable. I love how puppies have a very distinctive smell. I bet you were freaking out when you realized she was pregnant.

Jenni, great quilt! I haven't touched my quilt blocks in nearly a year! I certainly need to be motivated to sew again. Love it, congrats to you and your SIL for a project completed.
