I called HH this morning and cancelled my brandy Origami order (although they did say the shipment arrived today and would be processed tomorrow.) Could someone who knows about the Gaza Hobo tell me if it's big enough for my pomp, a carryall, day planner, blackberry, a bottle of water and some kidlet snacks? I love the Gaza on Bonanzle but am worried it might not be big enough.

I don't have one but it looks big. You should be able to find a modeling pic somewhere...

I had one for a nano second - it was a tiny but small for me, but I like huge bags --I'd consider it a medium sized bag -- it's about the same size as my Nomade bag (not the hobo, but the other one that has the two pockets in front -- why can't I ever remember the name of that darned bag??)

I have one in taupe and i'm pretty sure it can fit all those items - I can confirm for you tonight, if you'd like. The bark looks beautiful!

I've got a prune Gaza and check, works for a pomp, carryall, snacks. I think a blackberry would fit, as for a day planner, probably depends on how big it is and a bottle of water should fit. However, like it was mentioned before, it's not a huge bag, more medium sized so allthat could be a tight fit. I'd say if you have a Pilot, use that instead to ease the load. |

Thanks for your input, ladies. Now I am second guessing myself for canceling the Origami order although I don't think that is much bigger than the Gaza Hobo. Ugh. All I need is an everyday kind of mommy bag (in some sort of brown big enough for a day out with the kids.) A Nico maybe? Cordovan Wyeth Tote? Tamasin? Or should I ask HH to re-sell me the Origami? Aack! What have I done?

The tamasin is a great bag. If you are looking for a momy bag, I use it all the time for the kids. The crossbody is great! I also like the tharpe if you want a nice momy bag. The compartments in it help with organization.

I like the way my tamasin looks, but its north-south orientation can make it challenging to find things sometimes.
I also like the look of the Nico, but things disappear inside there because of it's unstructuredness. I think the Corcovado is the perfect mommy bag! |

I do think that passing on the Gaza is a wise choice......having an easy access bag (to open/close, etc) is a must and would consider non-hobo bags........ |

Trophy, Brenda! Get the Trophy! It opens wide, has pockets a-plenty on the outside and in, good structured shape... I wear mine w. my "mommy uniform" (ie: yoga pants, some solid tank/tee, embellished flats/sandals) w.o. a problem. In fact, I think it brings the super-casual outfit up a notch!

Oh, and I leave it unzipped all the time for easy access and it still looks fly and holds its shape! Can we say that about the hobo?

Oh, OH! And the side D-rings have me thinking that it might go perfectly on some stroller clips! I'll have to check!
