I looked back at DMC's pics of the aubergine. Looks more like red wine to me?? Has a red-purple tone.

Yes, I agree. The aubergine is more red-violet and the grape is more blue-violet.

Is grape the closest to an eggplant shade that HH has had?

New to TPF, growing list of items I'm interested in, especially a steal (come on, I'm in college!). Want to try a Havana, Lorca, and Trophy. ISO HH carryalls, wallets, coin purses, key fobs, etc. in fun colors like: Black Bronze Wizard Snake, Lagoon, Indigo Crinkle Patent, Grape Shine, Anthracite, Moonbeam, Metallic Indigo, Metallic Violet Also hoping to find a good deal on a black Newman. |

I wonder how it compares to grape? At least I can get my hands on grape, but ... that eggplant ... oooooooooh!
