Default Emile Passcase in Grape is Here - Pics
I got my first bit of fall from HH -- the Emile Passcase in Grape!! The color is gorgeous and the leather is super nice. The hardware on the front is also very nice -- HH has great leather and hardware I have to say! The pics are taken with flash - the color is a little darker than that, but it's really pretty! The closure is a snap, but it seems to be a magnetic one so not sure how great this would be for credit cards - I'm thinking of it as a biz card case so that wouldn't be an issue, but for anyone who's thinking of using is more as a wallet, that might be one.

I also ordered the Sophie Cardcase so not sure I'm keeping both - am hoping the Sophie will show up soon so I can compare - no clue what the status is on that - that's the one where I accidentally deleted the emails showing the order/tracking -argh

Is it strange that I kind of want to lick that grape?... sorry. It's beautiful. With the flash it looks sort of fizzy, like grape soda, and... well...

So pretty!

It's sooooo cute!! It reminds me of grape soda too. I wouldn't go as far as to lick it but I might want to smell it to see if it smells like grape LOL
Ok lulu it's not a scratch and sniff LOL

OOOOH purty..suzzeee...it reminds me of the Grape Fizzies (ah..my misbegotten youth) or Pop Rocks I still secretly indulge in ..the ones with the crystals that explod with flavor..yup..I'd lick it for sure. Is this Grape Shine or Grape? What is the texture..cushy and pillowy..slick..soft..is it like a Zeus leather..c'mon...throw me a bone..please please amiga.

Business card case with panache indeed. OK..I'm hiding my Groupons for now..this is tempting me.

Okay, I"m fondling the Emile now so I can describe it in detail The leather has a sheen to it and a very subtle "smooth pebbly" texture - inside it looks a bit more pebbly. It's soft, but not super thick leather and it's kinda slick. I don't have any bags from Spring to compare it to and the leather is nothing like my Emile or Nomade bags - it's much smoother and sophisticated looking. The hardware is silver and quite nice. I really, really like the color - it's a dark grape - it's a very sophisticated little card case and could be unisex even!

Oh, and it smells really good too - it has that nice leather smell! And, I was just squishing the leather on the folded over end and it makes that little leather "creaking" sound too!

Silver? The hardware is silver? Why have I not realized that before now?? Interesting! I love silver! Such a great description, now I can't wait to order my own.

Silver?! I have never seen silver hardware on HH before. It says nothing about it on the site. Hmmmmmm!

Lovely! I just got mine, too (in gray) and will post pictures. It makes such a great business card case, I agree! With lots of extra pockets to tuck in cards from other people.

I love it! I would love one for those times I'm packing light and only take my CC, ID and a couple of bills with me but that's too bad about the magnet. I guess that rules it out for me since I don't have much need for business cards. : (

I used my Emile passcase for three hours and the very next day, the chip in my VISA would not work. I'll need to test my credit card at another retail location to be certain whether or not it's been demagnetized. The strip was otherwise functioning because they were able to run my card and have me sign the old fashion way. Has anyone else had this problem?

Merry - I've carried a Visa, MC and debit card in mine with no problem after. However all are "old school" cards with no chip. I just got a new MC and debit card with the chip and haven't used the emile passcase to carry them yet.
