I'm loving the Emile in grape, that IS tempting. And I do need a new wallet. *desperate rationalising*

Am I going crazy though, or have the prices on the website changed? I thought when I was browsing yesterday that the Emile was $138-ish, and the Sophie Frame wallet was $112. Now they're $158 and $138 respectively. Have I lost my mind?

LOL can't tell if you've lost your mind from here, honey! But no, they've always been $158 and $138.

Suzanne's pics are gorgeous! They are the flash version, however. I think the alien paddle in grape on the website is the most representative of the colour under natural light.

Heh! Well, it's probably a safe bet in general, lol.

Ahh, thanks. Maybe seeing the Sophie as $112 was wishful thinking?

So the grape is really that dark? Wow. I guess the flash lighting is really lightening up the grape colour.

I'd consider the Biblio in this dark grape shade, too...

I only have the Emile wallet in Grape but it's fairly dark, NOT a grape kool-ade grape nor a pastel. As someone said it doesn't have the red undertones of the augergine.

I just took it out in the daylight thinking I could get a good picture of the color but don't think I can. There isn't a lot of shine on the leather but there seems to be enough to reflect light and make it look lighter than it really is.

I'd say the photo of the Lilly IRL from HH is pretty accurate. It's a grown-up grape more like concord grapes but not a "red-hat ladies" purple.

^^ Thanks, kate! That's a great description. LOL @"red hat ladies" purple. (Um, no offense to the actual Red Hat Ladies.)

yes, no offense <blush> That purple always strikes me as a bright, clear purple without any black tones.

Nothing to be embarrassed about, kate. As soon as you said it, I knew the exact shade you were talking about! (And it's not my favorite, either.)

How heavy / light are the wallets empty? I'm soo tempted by the Emile indexer or clutch. still.
