Thank you soooo much, TM!!! It is so helpful to see everything. I definitely NEED the Emile. I didn't even know that the snap has changed because the picture on HH site shows two. Do you have any issues keeping it secure with the wallet stuffed? You have a lovely piece with the stitching.

I'm definitely sold on the Emile. Thanks so much TM for the pics.
I'm thinking of getting the biker sheik black.
I'm calling HH Monday to find out if I can use the $50 off + my groupon.

Dang, TM, you are on a roll w. these pics!!!

I think this emile might've replaced the modified-lido zip wallet I was lusting over. Yummm... Plum....

Great pics and review! I have been looking at the Emile for a while now, but this has confirmed that it will be my next wallet. Now I just have to choose a color!

This was a great review since I'm now lusting after this wallet and I hadn't even looked at it before! Love the amount of card slots.

TM - thanks for the review. You put your phone in the back pocket but it also looks like it might've fit into the inner section.

Need some colour help from the enablers.

The bigger bags I carry are KP corc, cordovan Havana or brandy trophy, a coffee-coloured Italian bucket bag and a whiskey coloured Banana Republic tote. I also carry black bags - Lorca and a gorgeous Italian glazed leather bag I've had for years.

What colour Emile Clutch should I get? I'm drawn to the black since I think it would go with more stuff but also trying to push myself to branch out a bit. My steel sloane is my most exciting bag - first time I've carried anything besides browns and blacks.

Thanks for your help!!!

Sally, if you are trying to branch out from brown/black, then go for the Grey or Yam (or is it too much like brown?). I want the Grey Emile really badly but I already have a GZ Clutch Wallet and it seems a bit silly to have two grey wallets! If it came in the Aubergine color, I'd snap that up, as the Grape doesn't do anything for me.

Faf, I "was" with you on the Grape... on the HH site it looks too pastel and flat, but the pics Luciana posted from VM make it look a good bit darker... now I'm on the fence. But can't wait to get my Aubergine Hawthorne Indexer this week and will post pics here.

If the emile clutch was in the aubergine I'd snap that up. Enough colour without being too grape kool-aid-y.

I think the grey is too light for me. My wallet gets handled A LOT (especially lately LOL). I'm on the fence about the yam - would be great if I had other orange/yellow toned stuff (like a yam shine trophy for instance) but I don't think it would go with all my reddish/brown/black stuff.

Some of the pics of grape that I've seen make it look a bit darker and smokier but then others are lighter and I'm iffy about it.

Black still seems the safest but I don't want to be the same old same old.
