OK... slight update on my D&S post re Clutch Bend...

The Lagoon clutch wallet she has is the "older" Lagoon (email her to find out if it has that cool lining). The Lagoon Lorca is the newer Lagoon w/Ginko lining. The Grey wallet is the older "Elephant" grey.

And she did say that the Havanas are coming out in (drum roll!!):

Black
Brandy
Olive
Taupe (???)
Black Shine
Grape Shine

AND ALL WITH TASSELS!!
So sad no Yam Shine :(

Yayy! Tassels. Weird that there is no yam. That would be so popular.

So, I don't suppose we would be so fortunate as to have these same colors in the Trophy?!? Can she verify what colors, other than the 3 shines, the Trophy might come in? Do you think she may be calling Shitake "taupe"? I haven't heard mention of a taupe color being in the collection.

Faf has spied a "taupe" Ramone on the Lookbook (go to the first page of "bags" on the scrolling one on the HH site). I don't think it's the suede. I asked her about the colors for "Havanas, etc." and she replied with the Havanas colors, but nothing else. I'd rather not keep bothering her when the reality is we're all sitting on Groupons and are not likely to buy Fall things from her right now. She's been super helpful and always offers a bit more of a discount for us, but HH always undercuts her... I'd be bitter, actually.

I'm wondering if we'll see perhaps a different grouping for the "classics"... so the Havanas in Grape and Black Shine, for example, the Trophys and Trophy Satchels in Grey and Yam Shine? That would correspond to the images in the Lookbook... the Havanas/Lorcas in Black and Grape, the Trophys in Yam and Grey.

I'm glad to hear that some of the A/W stuff is flying off her shelves. But yeah, HH's online sales really undercut anything a boutique could offer.

Oh, right, I had totally missed the cuff before. It looks like that color is also used as an accent on the clara. wait, so whyyyy no yam shine or shiitake havana? I'm always in the mood for a fun new havana...not sure why they're sticking with mostly basics on that one.
