Since the we have trouble not talking about our deals and steals, and the mods have to keep reminding us to not chat in the Deals and Steals thread, may we have a Deals and Steals Chat thread stickied. I've seen this in other sub-forums, and it seems to solve the problem.

^Great idea. I know I was guilty of chatting a bit just yesterday about the saddle Havana on ebay, but I felt I needed to say what I said, about the live.com 25% discount not being an option on that bag.

I guess the alternative would be to post a thread in the main HH forum that is "Pics of your Deals and Steals?" I am all for pics too, as much as possible, but wasn't sure if this was supposed to be a chatter only kind of place. I'll ask swanky to weigh in!

Okay, I did it. I contacted the ebay seller of the saddle Havana, told her of the issues I was having with the third party involved (Auctiva, or something like that) that caused the live.com cashback feature NOT to work. So she ended the listing, relisted it, emailed me with that info and I just bought it via BIN and will get $69 and change as cash back.
She said she'd send it signature required which works out great (unless it arrives on Saturday as our post office is open from 10-noon and if the carrier is late then I'll be picking it up on Monday). Works out great because I'll leave the house with just my wallet to pick it up the package. Open it in the P.O. parking lot, ditch the box, put my wallet in the bag and return home with my bag, this old thing, I'll tell my husband...
