Default Coupon code for $30 off Bluefly purchase of $150 and over...
IDK if this is where to post a coupon code but when you spend $150 or more in BlueFly and type in AFF30, you get $30 off your purchase. I tried it out (didn't buy anything, I swear, just tried it out to see if it worked before I posted it) and it worked.

If I posted in the wrong place, will some kind soul please enlighten me where the right place is to post this and keep it just for HHH.

Default I owe...I owe, it's off to work I go
I owe....I owe it's off to work I go.

Just tallied up the damage to my CC. OUCH! But on the other hand, I think a got a lot of bang for my bucks. I'm really stoked and can't wait for the two other boxes to get here.

Guess what? I still haven't unpacked everything but since I have to wait another day or two for the final boxes to arrive, I'll open the last box today. I know what's in there but I haven't seen them IRL.

So what did I wind up with? I can tell you what I bought but off the top of my head I'm not 100% sure of the prices in chronilogical order of SS:
Pre sample sale:
Joey Cuff in Brown Black X 2 for DD $50
First Day of Sale:
Bungalow Bag in Anthracite $82
Lorca Turnlock in Goldrush $100
Sonia Tote in Anthracite $82
Mercer Bag in Goldrush $164
Sao Paolo Crossbody in Black $127
At Physical Sample Sale
Ramone Cuffs in Yam, Platinum, Bronze, Black, Eggplant $45 each
Pre-production one of a kind Tan Crinkle Patent Corcovado $100
CBGB Belt in Ruby $25
Turnlock Wallet in Violet Crinkle Patent (tiny booboo in back) $45
Havana in Oyster (supposedly with booboo but I examine it in every
possible light source and I can't see anything) $100
Tharpe in Oyster with major blue marks in back and some crocking but I'm going
to experiment thanks to Stormy and try to fix or overpaint it
I'll post results on the appropriate thread $30
Marlowe Mirror in Black Leather $100
Marlowe Mirror in Black Patent $100
Floripa in Black/Goldrush/Tan tiny white hairline on back
of handle about 1/16 of an inch $100
minus 10% for all the physical SS stuff

The next day when they added these two items
Ipanema clutch $65
Lido Turnlock wallet Paule Morret lining $67

First day of "real" sample sale online this Sunday
Bungalow Wallet in Distressed Bronze $43
Bungalow Wallet in Black Bronze Whipsnake $43
Conrad in Yam $152

I think there's more but I have to look up the orders online.

Please note: I did not tally up the grand total because I simply don't want to. Total denial..I know it may not look to bad to some of the veterans but I wanted to get gifts and I couldn't blow my budget on some of the more pricey bags regardless of the lower prices..

I really would have liked something in blueberry or cordovan..to be continued later this evening...

I started this at 6:58 but had to finish dressing for work..
to be continued....the tune is from Disney's Snow White...

I owe, I owe, it's off to work I go.........

I received a phone call this afternoon from Jackie confirming that my order went out and she called to give me the tracking number. She mentioned that they were not able to fill all of the orders, and in fact were quite overwhelmed. I believe there were only a handful of the HH clutches available. She was very sincere and apologized again and again and said she was sorry to disappoint anyone. She also mentioned that their computer inventory is updated manually and in fact they got swamped. Being closed on Saturday only added to the problem as it allowed more people to purchase (in fact they oversold RM bags also) items that were not in inventory. I get the feeling that this is a small boutique type outfit. Not to say that I haven't had orders cancelled by some of the bigger companies too. I will post an update on my order when it arrives.
I'm sorry everyone didn't get what they wanted, but I did feel after talking to her that it was an honest mistake. I'm sure never in a millon years did they expect the HH Hotties would pounce on them in full fury. LOL
Ms.Lizardo -
Indeed, spot on w/your observations....I think they were TOTALLY unprepared for what happened and realized that their website and their "usual" customer service response and business habits were far from adequate. Chalk it up to lessons learned for both seller/buyer......

My intentions were not to be harsh when telling what happened w/this seller, but to be factual and to give guidance to others NOT TO RELY on the website to place their order.....but to CALL to check on inventory. The only subjective statement was that I did not get warm fuzzies relative to her explanation(s) and I would have little confidence buying from such a seller. I too have experienced glitches from sellers - Gryson - and completely know of previous HH fiascos as well......

In the long run......this is just a blip!

I know what you mean DCBlam...it is such a bummer to have your heart set on a purchase and then have it cancelled. It is even more aggravating and makes matters worse when the customer feels they are not dealt with politely and professionally.

You are right about not relaying on website orders until we virtually have them in our hot little hands! *anxiously awaiting a shipping confirmation on my HH scores*

So I know I'm massively late... (And have a LOT of catching up to do! I was on a trip to CA from Friday until... Now!)
Anyway, as far as deals & steals-vialuxury goes... I got a call Saturday that there was not enough stock for them to put my order through, not even one clutch left (even though I'm sure I was one of the first to order...)
I talked to the lady who most of you probably talked to as well and she told me my order had been cancelled.
Oh well!
The thing I'm more bummed about is that I missed all the great post-sale deals on HH.com!! I was looking at the sale page on DH's iPhone and was like, "OH MY GOD!" but no computer access and not a lot of time, so I didn't buy anything.
I hope you gals had a great weekend and hopefully some HH steals will pop up for me soon!
Congrats to the girls who got their clutches, post pics!!!

I'm so sorry you couldn't be here with us.

That must have been h*ll to know what was going on and no internet.

Default I just discovered my Mercer has a damage but HH to the rescure
I just opened up one of the HH boxes that arrived on Saturday. I wish I had done it sooner because I just discovered that the Goldrush Mercer has to be returned because it has a damage near the zipper.

When I called HH to ask what could be done, and explained that it was not a sample, Nitza at HH was amazing. Hopefully, another Mercer will be in the mail as soon as the return arrives and is processed in Brooklyn. I've never had this experience with any other manufacturer or designer with items bought at a sample sale. Talk about customer service. Nitza and HH. Thanks for coming to the rescue.

I agree Gingey - Nitza is a superstar CS manager. I simply adore her for her sweet personality, great desire to assist, and constant 110% effort to make things work for everyone!

Glad you are getting a decent condition Mercer - I adore the style!

I returned a damaged wallet and my replacement was shipped the same day the return was received!
