Sounds like they're giving everyone, including me a runaround. I actually was given every version of the fiasco. In truth, they should stick to brick and mortar and stay off line. I know they're located on Kings Highway in Brooklyn. Maybe a cabal of angry HHH and other TPF affectionados who were done wrong should go down en masse and confront them?

Jandelvis, you don't know me but I love your posts and your photos. I am sure that Floripa will show up at the same price or even better somewhere. I will scout evilbay and Craigs list, you never know. They should be from selling on line. The purse gods will smile on you.

from me.

Default Nimble fingers how I got them

It's actually been on my mind for the past few days to ask you this
Sorry, Mom called and I had to clarify something. (She doesn't know that a HH is in her near future. IDK which one but one of them definitely)

Cho, I learned how to type on a manual typewriter (back in the days of the dinosaurs) with capped keys, (you couldn't see the letters and I got smacked if I peeked) where you literally had to pound on the keys so anything else is easy. I was clocked at 60 WPM back in the day which is what anyone needed to hold down any entry level position. I remember the joy at the IBM electric and then the "futuristic" IBM selectric and once I mastered the lighter touch, I upped my speed to 80. To make a long story short I probably type about 120 WPM on a good day.

The WP is my weapon of mass destruction because I use it for correspondance, papers, typing research and proposals, lesson plans. So I must type about half the time.

Makes it so much easier to type in an HH sample sale order too before the item I wants disappears

LOL...yes she does know how to work them all, I've seen her pics. I scored a Floripa in the physical SS and almost gave her up because I just kept spending first online and then there. But something about her made me go back and take her home.

BTW, I can't get my two daughters from fighting over which of them is going to get her. Did they ever think that maybe I would want to keep it and not share?

I'll keep my eyes peeled for one. I'm not a member of the HHH RAOK but that won't stop me from seeing what I can do to find one at the right price and let her know where to find it.

Totally off the thread now aren't we.

Nonono..I could probably TYPE a book in three days. It would take me years to write one. I know, I have two that I've been editing for almost 4 years. Hmm...maybe I should just TYPE them up, submit them as is, and let the editors pick out a plot, sort of like the way Michaelangelo answered when asked how he sculpts, that he cuts away everything from the block of marble except the statue. (Although I am in NO WAY a Michaelangelo...maybe Mike or Angelo, two of the pizza dudes down the block. On second thought, I shouldn't knock them their calzone are works of art)

BTW..I snagged some paint samples that I am going to post for feedback when I get a chance. OMG...They'd make amazing colors for HH metallic bags. I when I saw them.

Maybe I'll use a few to handpaint the Tharpe boo-boo bag I picked up in Oyster at the SS or would that be considered a crime that would have me banished from here forever?

I'll write a poem and post it, the Saga of Spinster Sonia.

Seriously, maybe we can let them know at HH that she really needs to go to a home that will love her. In a moment of wisdom worthy of Solomon, either we can cut her in half or share her. (OUCH..that sound vaguely obsene!)

OK..say it after me "anthropormorphism" it's a tote, it's a tote, not a person, it's a tote. We are so guilty of it...

NAH!!!!

Exactly Stormy!

To make matters worse I have worn contacts FOREVER, and I am sooooo extremely nearsighted. That makes one more suspectible to the old retina detaching. To think that in all my years going to have eye exams NO ONE ever mentioned it as a possibility. Apparently if you are extremely nearsighted you have a 1 in 20 chance of it ocurring as opposed to the normal 1 in 10,000. Myopia accounts for 67% of the retinal detachment cases.......

I know too much information.......

To Stormy and Ms. Liz.

Stormy, you are so right..now what about an old age home?

Ms. Liz: My DD had to stop wearing contacts at age 25 because the doctor says that due to our family history, this might be a problem because she started getting headaches.

I don't subscribe to the "life..lemons...lemonade" poop that many people do, but you know, I think StormyHeart has an idea that my solve our problem with Senorita Sonia if you catch my drift? Thoughts???
