CAN NOT BE COMBINED WITH ANY OFFERS.
ORDERS FOR EXCLUDED LINES USING CODE VRSAVE WILL NOT BE HONORED.

Gingeybear, love reading your posts!

I have an eye doctor appointment in 10 days to follow up and make sure the retina in my left eye isn't partially detaching. I swear if I haven't blown out my retina yet laughing at your posts all weekend I should be ok! LOL

And by the way Ms. Sonia told me this morning that she was never so crushed and hurt as she was by you putting her in and taking her out of your cart so many times.
She said to tell you she feels TOTALLY UNLOVED. She was crying her little eyes out the last time I checked.

Dcblam.....that sucks that they totally canceled your order. That's not right at all! I'm sorry to hear that.

viaLuxury update......

Yup, cancelled.
I called and got a bit of a run-around as to how this situation occured....I posted a thread under Deals/Steals explaining what happened and I hope my comments do not delay or compromise your transactions w/viaLuxury (sorry, thought afterwards that I should post later in the week) - but was a bit put-off and wanted to vent, sorry!

So sorry about your retina..PLMK the outcome..didn't mean to exacerbate anything, can't help the way I write sometimes, dark and twisty sense of humor.

Just checked and Ms. Sonia is still there, wonder why, she's SO desirable nes cest pas, mon chere ami. I am so in but alas, when I went to find my CC...I found that she had jumped ship. Perhaps she is one step ahead of the since she is one step away from being locked in the slammer, key thrown away until further notice.

(Silly wabbit, I have another one heheheheh! But only for emergencies. Guys, does this qualify..purse rescue?)

If she was a smart young lady, she would have sneaked into the order I placed yesterday and none of this would happen.

Or perhaps, since she is becoming an old maid (much to her chagrin I might add) the purse fairies or some at HH would be nice and lower her dowery so that I could finally pay it and take her home where she belongs.

Wait, I have it, a handbag haven or shelter for samples and second HH purses like North Shore Animal league..adoption???...hmmmm???

Even though I didn't order anything, I feel everyone's pain. Chodessa, don't take it to heart because if it had gone through it would have been a fantastic coupe for everyone.

About ViaLuxury: I love to patronize businesses especially local ones (hence HH). I emailed ViaLuxury and described in excrutiating detail where they went wrong and why. I also explained that these oversights would cause them to lose a tremendous amount of online business because TPF posters spread the word among all of the threads not just HH. I further explained how they messed up and what they need to do which is basically redo their website to be more specific.

They had no idea about HHH's rabid desire to purchase these items at such an amazing price and they only had a few pieces in stock, or so they replied.

That's when I emailed back and explained that if the sale went through with the discount, they were obligated to honor it according to the BBB so they might want to work on their web page. In addition, I explained that perhaps they might have been more specific about limited quantities, or one to a customer etc. and what items the discount did apply to.

The site still doesn't make sense though, because theoretically, the site still doesn't say discount only available on non-sale items. Nothing about quantities in stock, nothing about terms and conditions. I finally clicked every link on the page until.....

I clicked the events and lo and behold:

"Receive 45% off When You Buy Designer Bag. Promo Code VRSAVE excludes sale items that are 50% to 60% off. & excludes Judith Leiber
ALL SALES FINAL WHEN USING
VRSAVE. NO RETURNS, STORE CREDIT OR EXCHANGE.
NO ADJUSTMENTS TO PREVIOUSLY PURCHASED MERCHANDISE.

ORDERS FOR EXCLUDED LINES USING CODE VRSAVE WILL NOT BE HONORED.
VRSAVE DOSE NOT APPLY TO ALREADY REDUCED MERCHANDISE"

Now how does that belong under events?

I'm going to email them and explain that I shouldn't have to require an online GPS to navigate their site and neither should any customer. I also suggested that they post an apology to everyone on TPF and perhaps a bit of incentive for us to gain our trust.
Maybe all of the sale and heavily discounted prices were changed back to full prices so that this misunderstanding doesn't happen again? That still doesn't explain what mysteriously happening in my shopping cart.

While the entire situation was very upsetting to all HHH, I tried to step back to view what happened from their (misguided) point of view. I think it wasn't done maliciously, but rather that they really are run by people who are used to talking to customers in a brick and mortar business who don't know that what a website advertises has to be very specific (again, the HH site how to run a website or an online business.

Sorry for my "megilla" but I just wanted to share.

Question Haven for Hayden Harnett Handbags? Or perhaps a spa?

Am I gonna get booted? Not suggesting a trade or anything, just a safe haven for R&R and maybe a few spa treatments for tired and out of shape HH handabgs?

Or a place where our seconds and slightly dinged samples could go and come back to us in amazing shape?

Update on Vialuxury order:

I received a phone call this afternoon from Jackie confirming that my order went out and she called to give me the tracking number. She mentioned that they were not able to fill all of the orders, and in fact were quite overwhelmed. I believe there were only a handful of the HH clutches available. She was very sincere and apologized again and again and said she was sorry to disappoint anyone. She also mentioned that their computer inventory is updated manually and in fact they got swamped. Being closed on Saturday only added to the problem as it allowed more people to purchase (in fact they oversold RM bags also) items that were not in inventory. I get the feeling that this is a small boutique type outfit. Not to say that I haven't had orders cancelled by some of the bigger companies too. I will post an update on my order when it arrives.
I'm sorry everyone didn't get what they wanted, but I did feel after talking to her that it was an honest mistake. I'm sure never in a millon years did they expect the HH Hotties would pounce on them in full fury. LOL

Gingeybear: This is off topic but I am very curious to know how fast you type.. Do you know - literally how many words per minute?
It's actually been on my mind for the past few days to ask you this
