Min....do you even know if that Mercer would have worked for you? On me it would probably look like something used to support carpal tunnel syndrome...or a bondage thingy..and I like R&R (rock and roll...and rest and recreation..) but I can't do that cuff..I know others can..but me..no way jose..you..you went from "I can't wear this to work" to...I need a Mercer OMG..I love you..

Oh lord, you're right, gingey, I sound like a crazy lady! I swear I was (a lot more) sane before discovering HH - in fact, I wasn't even into bags at all (*gasp*). I just kinda thought it would be cool to try out a mercer...

I'm also totally bummed I missed out on the brown Pallenberg duffel... so at least it's not *just* the cuffs I'm obsessing over, LOL

^^ Thank you. I had to, It's gorgeous. My one concern about it is that it doesn't seem to come with a dustbag. So if anyone sees a PM dustbag for sale anywhere please let me know.

I was so bummed too. I came home and looked through the completed listings and saw it. I don't know why I do that either! I keep missing the Mercers

Woohoo! I won the black patent Bernardin (with turnlock) for just under $100! I'm so excited because when I first saw it in an old magazine scan I really wanted it but was so sad it was d/c'ed! I felt better when I saw the Bernardin in the Fall/Winter lookbook but I really wanted it in the turnlock instead of Clara closure.

OMG, you guys it's true love!!!!! The leather is sooooo super yummy and rich! It fits all my stuff perfectly. If the handle drop were 1" longer and the long strap where crossbody I don't think I would ever buy a another bag again. You can quopte me on that. I LOVE IT!!!!! I'll upload the pics later. The seller shipped it so fast. I was surprised to see it today.

I was one of those bidding on that bag. I was so bummed that I got called to attend an emergency at work before I could set up my snipe when I found I couldn't be there for the close. You're lucky day. I was online when that first hit and I immediately placed the first bid to keep it from being eligible to be worked as a BIN. I'm like you. Didn't like the Clara. Loved that black one the first time I saw it in the ad.
