I tweet with HH a lot on Twitter. I think that girl who does the Twitter is named Jen and she's super nice and has always answered me when I ask a question. Maybe I should put in a nudge for shipping our orders...

Clever clever HH..trying to get us to use our groupons to unload leftovers. Rack up dinero..and then same old same old with shipping. I've been lucky at times..other times I had to call a gazillion times until my refunds got processed.

CAVEAT...if you are owed a merchandise credit..not a refund, don't forget to get the code from HH. In fact you better keep on top of it because there is no way to track anything on your account on HH's website. I never got the code without having to contact CS a few times. This happened each and every time. As a newbie back in October-January..I didn't know and assumed that it would be showing up in my account like in giltgroup or hautelook. After a while I realized that nope, not the case. Luckily I had kept records of everything I returned and whether it was for full refund or credit.

I hate the fact that they charge the CC without shipping..and why sell things you don't have in stock..especially sales items..clearance end of the season items..these should all be in the warehouse..and that whole business with that coat..that would burn me..are they waiting for returns from merchants?

This isn't a bad boyfriend.amigas..this is more like an abusive boyfriend..at least when it comes to this.

^^ gingey, with the Kristy, they've had some problems with the fabric, so it's a manufacturing issue. They are trying to compensate us for it, so I'm not upset about that particular item (despite my whinging). But I do want to be able to use it this fall, not Fall 2010!

yeah, there is really no excuse for this type of poor customer service..but I like their products and every time I called they picked up right away and were nice to me. Small operations don't really qualify as an excuse, true, Linea Pelle is not a big company either, but every time I've ordered from them I received my stuff promptly and their customer service is superior...(if something was out of stock for example, they ALWAYS offer something else for the same price, you don't even have to ask for it).. I just put up with HH because of their sale. Let's face it- I admit that's really not a good strategy for the company either and I want them to be around a long time, so they DO need to do something about their CS.

Default shipping limbo
I'm also in shipping limbo...it's said "billing info received" since Aug 17 (I placed the order on Aug 11).

I bought the Thalia dress (in painterly) for a wedding I'm attending next week, so I really hope it get here in time. Otherwise, I'll be canceling the order. Two weeks is WAY too long to wait for an order to arrive.

omg dani has called my house several times on the same day that I've left a message, or by the next day. It's amazingly responsive and helpful - and friendly!

As others have said, it's the lies and the misinformation/lack of information/onus put on the buyer to track discounts, etc, and the tone of CS that bother me.

How can you not ship clearance items you're trying to get rid of? How can stuff get so insanely backed up? Hire some part-time folks to do shipping when you have big sales...

Yeah. I am irritated right now. I have been waiting on somethings since 8/13 and 8/15 yet things I ordered on 8/21 are on their way. I called and they said they have the items and they should have been shipped. They don't know why they have not.

So, I just called because I have two orders that say they were shipped on 8/14 and 8/20 but when I click on the tracking info there's no info. What is happening, per their CS rep, is that HH is submitting the shipping data to UPS and generating a tracking # but the item is not boxed and shipped yet - only tracking data has been generated -- this is why we're seeing the "tracking" with no info. She explained that they had just had this "big sale" and that was why they're behind -- frankly that sale was a couple of weeks ago and they should have all of this stuff out the door already. I have one new fall item that is not shipping until 9/25 yet it say's it's shipped already

I did ask about the Biblio and Trophy Satchels and they are coming for sure -- she said it should be fairly soon but she didn't have a date yet. She said they are both coming in the Purple for sure!!
