Default Check Out the New Groupon and Fine Print
Checking out the groupons this morning and found a new one for HH but with new limitations. I guess we won't be buying.

What??? New customers only? How are they gonna stop people from making new accounts?

Oh, isn't it interesting they are only making it 5 needed for the deal??? How lame. I wish no one would buy them or they will always do them this way. We need to teach them a lesson. If no one buys them, then they might change it back! Stay strong ladies!

wow, well i guess they can afford to do that now that we have basically bought so many of them and they have so much of our monies tied up. they should put a disclaimer on there that the groupon can not be used towards your frustrations or troubles with HH or if HH changes their minds in the middle of sale how the groupons can be used... and with no codes...

They do need more of the new"rules" up there so people know what they are really getting.

me too, as a person that currently has 4 left..... thinking of just using mine on anything right now to get rid of them and just step away from HH for a while...maybe explore some new designer... that could be fun...

That's why I just burned through my last two Groupons during this "all tricks, no treats" sale. I will stay with the Hotties, but not sure about buying direct from HH for a while.

No you're not - I want to post something on the groupon page to ask about why only new customers are allowed. But, there are lots of vendors who say only new customers can participate in some specials. But, we all know that this was done for other reasons, too.

Still, I'd just look whiny unless I can figure out a way to phrase it directly. Maybe I'll go for a run and think.

The thing that really gets me is Ben isn't thinking - people in the miami area will say HH, who's that? They will google them, and then just like many of us before them, they will see tpf in the top searches, and read some posts!

So, as others have pointed out before, they are clearly underestimating how large this site is and how many people use it. I've 'met' lots of folks online through ebay and other transactions that come here regularly and never post.

Siouxe is right. I don't post a lot, but I certainly read about the problems with the last two sales. It really turned me off. I'm willing to bet there are many more like me.

I didn't make any purchases during the sales and I'm so glad. I don't plan on purchasing any more Groupons.

I'd love to know who bought, I am so cynical that I would bet just about anything that it's a HH friend or fam member to get things going.

I don't think I'd care if this was for new customers only if it happened before our attempt to talk to Ben instead of after. I suspect that all the cities were planned out in advance and this is just yet another way to change the rules along the way.

With only five needing to be sold the bar is set awfully low so someone knows this isn't going to be very popular. At all. This will save me wondering if I "need" to buy another one.

And since when is "Miami, the Williamsburg of Florida"????????? I lived there for a long time and still have family there and have never heard that before!
