Cheaters and abusers. And EX-HH customers. Well. I guess that's the way Ben wants it. |

And we thought we were bad just cause we couldn't stay on topic in the Deals and Threads thread. Little did we know how bad we were

I think someone somewhere posted that Ben said that "abuse" was Lina/Groupons language not his. Perhaps communication difficulties between Groupon and HH too.

I was the one who posted it from an e-mail this morning. Here's a copy of his e-mail -
Suzanne, One more thing I thought you could pass along for me. Apparently Lina from Groupon made some comments about the current Groupon offer in Miami to some queries from the Purse Forum. These are not my words. -Ben Actually it makes me feel a little better since I went back and looked at it again. Maybe Ben is just a standard issue Butt-head, and not totally in the Twilight Zone - at least some of the time. |

did someone post lina's recent post:
have previously rejoiced over the fact that unlimited Groupons could be purchased. Since then the rule has changed because of my previous comments. HH knew that multiple Groupons could be used by the same person, but we never foresaw this to be something that would happen at the frequency that it did. I do apologize if it was taken as my coercing purchasers to may more, it was only my intention that the ability to buy with no limit was unique and quite a bonus. ****************** Anywho, it's clear HH doesn't think things through except for their wonderful designs..... |

That was a little confusing but it does sound like she isn't the one who is doing the griping about "too many of those damn people are buying those dratted
Groupons and using them on our stuff!" You'd expect her to be happy for as many of them as possible to sell, wouldn't that be good for Groupon? I tried to give ya the benefit of the doubt Ben, really I did. ETA ~ I went over and read Lina's comments, sounds like she's caught in the middle. |

Well, there you go. We thought we were doing something good for HH, to partially pay for stuff up front, months before actually making a purchase. Guess not.

That's exactly what I was thinking after her last comment. Better than thinking they're against us as well, I guess.

poor Lina. I feel sorry that she was even a part of this mess. Oh well.
PS... Um, I never fully appreciated the beauty of baseball until wearing my glasses this evening to watch the game. Geeze, I missed so much detail- that would have made all the difference. LOL! |

Ummm...Not to sound paranoid but her comment doesn't sound like she is "caught in the middle" to me. It sound like she was pressured and coerced into taking responsibility for HH's f'up. This whole thing is getting way crazy and way creepy! She just gave more of apology than we are ever going to get from HH and she is taking the blame because "we never foresaw this to be something that would happen at the frequency that it did". So basically HH never thought it would be so successful and Lina is at least partially to blame for how many groupons were sold because she encouraged us to get in on such a great deal with a company that didn't have the foresight to work out all the details before they entered the deal.

So we're really supposed to believe that "oh noes, HH is losing so much money because customers are partially paying way in advance"? I'm continuing to have trouble seeing what the problem is. They didn't forsee that we'd use them when the bags went on sale? Is this really a losing proposition for them?
