LOL! My dog apparently likes the Mischio, but not enough to want to "try it on." LOL! I should start stuffing HH receipts into it. I am running out of places to hide my retail indescretions lately; God help me.

You all are too funny!
![]() I have several Michio's. I travel a LOT and was recently on 4 continents in 10 days In one I keep cords for the computer, phone and NDS chargers and such, one has make up in it, one has jewellery (including a fistful of HH Cuffs) and one I keep meds/bandaids & such inside. I love the undergarments in the carry-on idea! Will have to use that one next time for sure! Violet is my fave, but I have 3 other colours as well so I know what is in what. DH even has two of them and uses them well

Michio's are wonderful for travel! I have 3 (tho the violet is my favorite). Even car travel - Michio's hold my DS, charger, headphones and games! Here's a couple of photos with my current sock knitting project.

Now that I've been thinking more about Michios I have lots of ideas about what to put in them! Hope they go on sale soon before I forget what it was I wanted to do with them. Maps and the directions I print from MapQuest in the car, all the little instruction manuals and misc. cordage for the camera, lap top, net book etc. The little books of puzzles etc I keep in the car if I'm stranded somewhere and need something to do with my wait time.
The only thing I'd like to be different is if the zip under the front flap went all the way across the top instead of stopping short of the sides. |

DMC - love the sock! Do you read the Yarn Harlot blog. I'm knitting a Koigu sock right now.
Kate - someone mentioned that they couldn't get a 10" netbook in their michio. And yes - sadly - this thread is enabling me to buy more michios. |

OMG this thread cracked me up.
Highlights: the obsession with uncreased Martha Stewart magazines, and "retail indiscretions."

Yep, I DO read the yarn harlot - and more! I Love Koigu socks! They have stunning colorways. Hmmmm I'd like to hear more about netbooks and Michio's -- my youngest son may get one for Christmas.... |

I was looking at the michios on the HH website and someone commented that they put all the stuff that they want to use on the plane in the carryall. When they get to their seat - they remove it and slide it in the seat pocket and stow their bigger bag in the overhead compartments. That way they have their lip gloss, hand cream, mag or book, ipod etc all handy. SMART!

That's very smart! It would be nice to carry a roller-bag and a small purse on a plane rather than a roller bag and a tote with reading materials and all that. Smart to put it in a Michio! You all are starting to convince me I need a couple.

That's TOTALLY brilliant!!! Even if your bag is under the seat in front of you, getting it out is a hassle (especially for me and my size 10.5 feet) and you end up bumping your head on the knee of the person beside you. Who came up with that?? They deserve an award!!

My Acer Aspire net book at 9 3/4" x 6 3/4 " will fit in the back pocket without any problems. The cables, tiny little mouse in it's own pocket fits in the front pocket and makes a rather small little package.
And my DVD player will fit in w/DVDs in the other pocket. The only question now is, "why do I only have one of them??" If I downsized everything I could get my whole life in a Michio. Papillion dogs have a rep for being as smart as border collies and I bet they'd fit in a Michio. Hmmm, something to keep in mind..... |
