I purchased the cordovan corcovado but I'm afraid to use it! I need to know how to protect it from water spot mostly. What do I use? Please specify brand & whether it's spray or lotion protectant! Thank so much everybody for your help especially Stormy Heart. I think it's so refreshing that everybody is so nice & helpful to eachother on the TPF!! I'm proud to be an HH HOTTIE!!!

Hi Stormy, I hope I'm doing this correctly and the pictures come out. I have never posted pictures before.

BTW could you give me a name of a spray that would be good for the luggage leather? Thanks for all your advice! I have never "treated" anything that I have so this is kind of scary for me...yikes!

I think I'm confusing myself.

So are we supposed to be buying kiwi spray to protect our bags (the ones that need protecting)? If so, what kind of kiwi? I did a search and too many results came up. If it makes a difference, I'm trying to protect the eucalyptus leather...

I have some lip gloss on the inside of my Grey Zeus Pilot - it's on the leather inside the interior front pocket. What should I use to remove it?

I've tried just a warm wet cloth and there is still lip gloss there...

Hi everyone,

A first time HH owner, I managed to get the blueberry Havana at the NY SS, I was reading through the forum I think I have a grasp of what needs to be done. And wanted to thank Stormy for taking on the project of creating the refrence guide, I know I am looking foward to see if my blueberry is a veg dyed leather or regular.

I think I found an ebay seller who offers the aerosol cans of the Wilson's TLC (am I correct that is what we should get?)

Wilson's TLC spray is the leather care of choice it seems. I heard from some TPFers they favored the non-aerosol pump version better (although I'm not sure why). You can actually still find them on the Wilsons Leather site and can probably google promo codes also.

Thanks Missty, I ordered the TLC spray, but when the package came it just states "Leather & Suede Protector" no mention of TLC on the package. Did I get the wrong one?
