Hi ladies -
just wondering if anyone else has ever had the turnlock on an oldstyle clutch wallet break? The ring part that you lift and turn snapped off....not sure how....just saw it broken on the counter the other day. /

Wondering if anyone has ever had one fixed, +if so, by whom? Don't want to ship back to HH....it's quite a few years old. I used it daily for a year +, but lately, bc I travel so much for work, I just use a BE Kiss me for makeup/creditcards.

Siouxie - I think people in the past have had these repaired but it cost a bit - I want to say like $50 for the turnlock and had to be sent to the factory. I believe the turnlocks were custom hardware. I'm not sure how hard they are to remove but if they are removable but another option might be to look for really beat up used wallets and swap the hardware.

ooh good idea to find a replacement wallet - I was wondering today if it could be taken apart/of the wallet, but didn't think to that next logical step. Great idea. I definitely don't want to pay that much to ship it back to HH to get fixed..thanks so much for your help!

Siouxie - I recently got a turnlock wallet and a lorca. I am not really rough with my purses, etc but the turnlocks on both items are VERY loose. I am afraid they will pop out. I wish HH would do a better quality check of their items.

I noticed on the last Lorca that I owned - loose turnlock! I just never thought it'd snap off like it did :( Hope you have better luck!
