Not a bang..a whimper. Not staying in the house for this. ((hugs))...just wanted to check in..amigas..a big "meh" from me though..maybe it will pick up some steam..but I can't sit around hitting refresh all day..nope..been there and done that and maybe in the fall..but not now...for you who love and lust after Spring..good luck and may the prices be with you!

ITA..& ROFL all of you funny chicas....maybe if they did some whacky stuff..it would turn into a Big bong..and the prices would drop like it's hot..

It's more fun refreshing this thread than the big bomb sale.

Kwim?

I am also considering a Havana but am wondering a) if things get lost in a big black hole and b) whether it's too similar to the origami.
No prob! And yeah, I posted pics from the shop--I'm glad they helped! :)

If you're really in love with the hobo I would say it's definitely worth $250 or whatever they're selling it for. If it's just a substitute for the tote, I would say hold off for it to go lower. I will say that I've used my black hobo a ton and it's one of my favorites. I paid 4x as much for the tote and it's barely been used.

I don't think the Havana is particularly deep and haven't had the black hole problems. What color are you thinking? If you ask me it's a totally different from the origami.

The Oryx clutch says $115 but when you click to buy it's $227ish plus free shipping.

The Trophy is listed at $305 - is this a good deal or might it go lower?

Paelaf:

You are so lucky! I would LOVE a black wyeth hobo but since they don't sell it anymore I was thinking I could settle for the cordovan. Perhaps I should just stalk around for a used one. Re: havana, if you say it's totally different from the origami then perhaps I should indulge. heh heh. I am not totally sure about the color tho. Maybe MB, BB or brandy since I am holding off on the wyeth hobo?

It depends how much you want it. The problem with waiting for lower is you might miss it. On the other hand, it's not much lower then the 50% off sale they just had, and isn't as good as the 60% coupon they sent out to the Pompidou pre-orders a couple weeks ago. It could go lower.

When there's a bag I like, I usually set a "target" price and then get it when it gets there and try not to look back if it goes down further.

IDK what will happen with this sale, but I picked up a black zeus trophy last winter for 75% off - paid around $169ish. Personally, I would wait and see what happens in the next few days.
