Silk is very easy to take care of without dry cleaning. It's almost the same as doing sweaters.Hand wash ( just a swish, don't let it soak) cold rinse, blot dry / roll in towels, smooth out & hang dry ,cool iron if needed (rarely).

I do ALL my silks this way (allergic to dry cleaning chemicals and adore silk,) I have easily 100 or more pure silk garments, scarves, even purses; they are all as nice as new, maybe a little softer.

I kinda wanted to get Mercuries in Black, but they are still more than I paid presale! I'm considering the Penelope, but am I too short for it? And on another note, I work from home, but guess what, I'm having network connectivity problems, so I actually have to drive to the office right now and fix that, and I can't go in my jammies, so I have to you know...get ready! I'm wondering when the BANG part of the big bang sale will be.

I am such a sucker for large % off - does anyone have a zephyr? I"m worried that I wouldnt be considering it if it wasnt so cheap but I'm not sure I really like it - what's with all the flaps? I saw the video for it but it didn't seem like there were all that many different things you could do with the flaps.

someone talk me down....It's like I *need* to get something bc it's the bb sale.

Basically, they slowly wear us down through sleeplessness and hunger until it is the big 'bang your head on the wall' sale and you buy out of diminished capacity.
