Default Any rumors, news, hints about Autumn/Winter 09 collection?
Just wondering if anyone has heard any preorder rumors, or has heard anything new on whether or HH will go ahead with the shoe collection...

From the last talk with Joanne today:

Lining: HH will use a thick canvas for their lining (10 oz, not too heavy to weight down the bag) in place of the silky/satiny print linings. She mentioned a lot of people like their colorful print linings, but they feel that its lasting ability perhaps isn't sufficient for an everyday bag that's meant to last for a long time so they're moving away from it. I think the sample items won in the auctions uses that canvas lining. The canvas used are in black and brown.

Shoes: As far as Joanne is concerned, they'll continue to go with the shoe production.

Extra bonus - biblio
: It'll come in black, olive and grape shine

The idea of the grape shine biblio is too much for my hangover right now.

Nuts. One of the things that I love about HH bags is the unique prints for the lining.

Yeah, not crazy about the lining being black or brown either. Makes it much harder to find things in the bag. Why can't they do a colored canvas, even if it's not printed?

Black lining is my least favorite too, for the same reason. Even a light beige or grey canvas would be better, just something other than the Black Hole effect.

Light colored canvas gets stained so easy though. I'm afraid to carry pens in my paddington, but have no problem carrying pens, even food, in my black-lined balenciaga. If H-H wants their bags to be used for years and years, it makes sense to go with a dark lining.

That said, I like printed linings more (and they hold up to stains well) and light canvas is indeed prettier than dark canvas!

Oh...yeah... Olive Biblio will be mine. And for me it is those craaaaaazy oxfords!

Olive may be the only green I can snag from HH, since it seems they are not into British Racing Green (Bottle Green). Oh well, I will just have to save enough mula somehow to afford that color in the YSL.

I'm hoping we can start to work on them and they will make that color for the Fall 2010 collection.

What's the usual drop date (month) for the fall line?

Shite..I thought the brown lining in the Yam Shine Lorca was used because it was a sample..ugh...doody, poopy brown..pretty close to this brown...not even rich choco..it's more like a saddle brown..not milk choco either..more tan than brown...not happy..not happy at all..plus it isn't as forgiving as the nylon..crikey..I'm already complaining..LOL

Olive? I do love olive..but ITA with RM...I need a dark green HH something...Trophy Satchel?????? Biblio might be a tad too big for me..I can't do a regular Trophy..I tried to work it but I just couldn't..

Why does HH seem to have an aversion to deep dark greens? Yup..let's bombard them with tweets and emails..start a petition..hells..they are already designing Fall '10 so it's not too early..

Same here. I love the unique print linings. I 'm not a fan of black or dark brown linings because of the black hole factor.

It's really hard to find a bag in a dark Hunter or Forest green (my faves)...there's always something just a tad off. Probably the biggest reason why I hang on to my RM Forest Henri even though I'm not head over heels about it. When I see what else is out there, I start to appreciate it more.
