I still think the green Bay that Cho has is the prettiest green bag I've ever seen... not sure if this is the one, but golly that's a beautiful emerald color... couldn't HH come out with something like this?

I want so much from the Fall catalog -- the Kentucky Vest, I love the Michelle Scarf but I think I heard they're not making that, the Trophy Satchel in olive or grape, The Biblio -- anyone heard of leather colors for that besides black?, Farrow Wide Cuffs and I can't decide between the Arbus Ruffled Booty or the Sophie Double Wrap Boot -- the Mena's are cool too and of course, more Ramones -- Yam Shine and Olive for sure!

WOW...Evergreen is a lot more glossy than Forest...I had no idea. I prefer matte and Cho's bag is too light for my taste.

Not a great shot and it is a bit too blue but here it is:

Gingey, the Chloe could be yours! For the low-low price of $900 and your next child, plus shipping from the UK. Seriously... drool.

What about Vintage Dooney? They have done years of dark foresty greens. Here is the closest thing I've got to British Racing Green. It's called "Fern Green" I also have the suede version of "fern green" in this bag style and the green is a smidgen lighter.

We're definitely moving away from HH's F/W 09 collection here ...

back on topic...

I DEFINITELY will be buying all the colors of the Newman that will come out - green or no. I can't wait to see a dark purple Newman ... Newman Newman Newman Newman Newman.

Slightly back to color wishes for a Fall HH...so....off topic for one second..then back on again. Second look...syb, thuy, jenni....thanx but...RM too blue..Chloe..to light..a bit too yellow...soooo......

marry Rebecca to Chloe...(maybe in Maine?) and their offspring is the perfect color..not too blue..not too bright..not too yellow..D&B...close but too blue..but thanx Lulu..

Now..back on topic....I'm taking a wait and see stance on Fall '09..I will be going down to the mothership in Greenpoint to see them IRL before I purchase anything..I intend to go there at least once before July if I can...and no more sight unseen buying for mois..I've learned that even when I do buy...sometimes my avarice and lust to own a new HH exceeds my caution...so this time around...I am not buying anything.

I am editing, editing, editing and slowly excising the excess of what I do own very slowly and will not be adding anything more than one or two bags at most during the Fall. I can't buy full price for the time being so I will have to risk something I want being sold out.

Rumor wise...rumors are just rumors not facts..but based on what I was told during the SS and in the store, I don't think HH is going forward with PM fabrics once the licensing agreement is over and done with. I also am not sure how many things from the Lookbook will actually be going forward either because a lot of it depends on orders and other factors. This line was designed and priced before the economic crunch so perhaps that is why. I was also told that it is possible that the some of the distressed metallics might not be making the cut either.

TTFN..XOXO...sun is out again for a bit so I'm going to take advantage of the first sun in days..it has been raining so much that I expected to see an ark housing a bunch of animals, captained by an venerable older man with a long, white, flowing beard come floating by my front door....

I saw a pic of a vintage Coach bucket bag in Bottle Green that was the perfect green color. I'll try to find the pic, but I saw it here at tPF.

^^I had a Coach wallet in that leather years ago. Yes, it would be perfect for a bag.

This is such a great bag-RM Henry right? Such a rich true forest green color.
