Default any recourse with paypal or groupons
Ladies,
I am downright furious as many of you are about the CHilly fiasco. Do we have any recourse with PayPal and groupons? I am absolutely taken aback by what has happened. Any experts out there?

I would like to know too. I had forked over a few hundred via PayPal after using one Groupon. I think it's unethical to take 2+ months to issue a refund.

I read up on PayPal buyer guarantee/insurance and for some reason, it appears to me that it's only for eBay purchases.

Another reason why eBay is better than shopping through the HH website. Aurgh.

I filed a Paypal complaint and received an IMMEDIATE response within 2-3 hours from HH: they completely changed the amount "owed" from 500+ to 210. Not quite sure of their new math. I also learned they had shipped part of my order, but recalled the biblio in time from the wharehouse?? Not sure how they could do one without the other. I have offered to pay the amount I believe is owed -25$ for my delayed cuff (found out some people were offered that), but their lovely solution of shipping back the merchandise they shipped out to me in BOSNIA isn't really feasible. 1) I dont get it until a month later and it takes at least a month to send back 2) their nice offer of free UPS shipping obviously doesnt help me 3) DHL is minimum of 100$ (based on my recent attempt to send my small fried hardrive back which weighs less and is much smaller) and I have no other shipping offer since I refuse to ship anything back without using a service I can track. It is not like I can go to the local post office and get delivery confirmation. So, none of their offers suit me at all b/c my money will still be tied up. This is disgraceful

This is insane to do this with international orders -- if it's their issue, they should be paying for all shipping charges! Personally, they should be sending you the order for what your invoice says period!

I've been only using my Amex with HH and I'm now going to figure out what they've not refunded and call Amex so they can demand a refund now - I'm not waiting weeks for a refund! HH is using our money to fund their company and that isn't right. I don't think they can legally charge you for an item that hasn't shipped, yet they do it. I did point this out and demand instant refund when I canceled my Oryx after they changed the shipping date and I got it and and apology!
