I order directly from Gerard Darel in the UK...London. It's cheaper than ordering from any boutique here in the US. I just ordered the Midday Midnight 36 Heures Hobo from GD. This is my 5th order from them and they all arrived just fine. Gary is the manager and he's fantastic!!

-Excellent idea! Have you had to pay any customs fees?

I love Gerard Darel. I don't have one yet, but I am dying to get the 24 hour midday midnight barcelona in blue.

I guess since the first 2 were in stock and came right away, I wasn't worried about the b'o's. Didn't know I had to worry.

Don't know if it was on this thread, but others had problems, too.

I had good service in the past from bagshop.com, but I see they only have the 24 heures.
chessmont - could you please post photos of your 48 hours bag? I'd love to see it IRL, not just in a store photo. PLEASE!!!

No fees ever!!! For instance, the 36 Midday Midnight hobo was $550 directly from Gerard Darel.....that includes Express shipping. Online stores here in the US charge $700 and up for the same bag. I refuse to give them money to make a profit when I can call Gerard Darel up and get my choice of bags. They always have everything in stock.

I just bought the 24 Hr. Midday Midnight from Rumor, but I haven't seen it because I'm on vacation in the Caribbean. My fingers are crossed and I'm praying that it's in pristine condition! Anooshka permitted me the use of a 25% discount code which brought the price down to about $460. If I'm not happy with it, it's going back ....but I won't know until mid December. Purseinsanity.....are you reading this post???? I know what you're thinking!! LOLOLL!!

^^WOW. I never thought of just calling GD directly. Do they ship to the USA? I wonder how much the 48 hours bag would be....?

Yes, I live in Las Vegas, NV. I actually dug up old threads where gals on here talked about getting their bags directly from Gerard Darel. I will NOT pay over retail for a bag that I can get so easily from GD directly. Gary is the manager at the UK store and he is fantastic! He has many, many US clients. He knows exactly what to do when you order and they ship USPS Express. I've never had to pay fees and they always have everything in stock. I actually just ordered another midday midnight hobo for my mom. So easy!!! I've never got one defective bag. Everything has been pristine and I'm very picky about my bags!

Oh Noooooooo!!!!!! God be with you my child, LOL! Seriously though, I hope you get it soon. Was it in stock? If it is, I'm sure it'll be fine! In the meantime, hope you're having a wonderful trip! You deserve it!

Is Gerard Darel located in London? Is there a website or telephone number that you can post? Thanks.

Yes, I call Gerard Darel directly in London....it's the boutique. They have stores inside department stores, but I call the boutique. The number is 011-44-2075869027. You'll have to google the present time in the UK to make sure you're calling during business hours. Ask for Gary...he's the manager and he's awesome!
