No.

It´s just a bag.

But if I´d have $ 99.000 to spend on things I don´t need I´d buy this croc Hermes:

And spend the rest on something else.

I think it would be cheaper to buy a real crocodile and ask him to carry your stuff on his back.

Besides how do you pay for that with paypal? How many credit cards must you have to buy it? My credit limit is no where near that much.

Ah, when I get to be able to afford it I'll let you know. Believe me I've said I'd never spend X on something only a couple of years later to find myself spending more. I never thought I'd break $1,000 for a handbag, definitely not $2,000, but I have.

You know though I think I'd prefer the 100k in diamonds, any leftover could go for a plain Birkin!

If I really loved collecting purses (which I dont in real life)
If I really liked Hermes (again which I dont )
If $99,000 seems like $990 to me (WHICH IS NOT) [[[even 990 is way too much now]]]
If I liked crocodile skin and not scared of it (this isn't the case either)
...
...
...
THEN I would totally buy it and buy more of it

I would if I had the means. It would have to be one of a few on earth and I would absolutely have to LOVE it.

Nope. If I liked Hermes enough to buy one at all (which I don't) I'd buy a leather one and use the spare change on other bags.

If I earn 1 million dollars a year AND (the most important thing) if I really really really love it then why not... but I would never buy a bag just to show the world that I can afford it if you know what I mean... I think once you have that much spending money and luxury to be able to have everything and not having to choose... the line between buying what you really love and just what you can afford start to blur...

no I won't. but yes, I can imagine why many ladies who lunch (tai-tais in Asia) will. check out the pictures in Hermes and celebs or Asian celebs with Hermes... the women are trying to outdo one another or to get their yet another pap shot on the dailies.. also they just have to one up another in terms of who has the most recent and most expensive or the rarest acquisition.. afterall, what else can they talk about when they dress up for lunch?

No. I dont care if I had the money. Think of all the better uses for it than a purse, especially in this economy. If I had that much money, I would be hauling it all off to charity.

I don't think I can wrap my brain around the fact that someone would charge that much for one bag, let alone spend that much on one... even if I could comfortably spend $100,000 on one item.
