Shoot...bidding has ended!! I thought I would get it with my "pocket money" for the week!!!

(writing "pocket money" made me feel like a 10 year old English child!)

I cannot say a definite yes or no. I know that I will never have that kind of money, so try not to think about it.

I hate to say it, but I just don't enjoy the feel of croc - and I hate how delicate it is. Not to mention the hassel of travelling with CITES certificates, and... It's gorgeous with other people, but it isn't me.

I'd have a hard time spending a couple of hundred on a croc - I wouldn't carry it enough to justify over that.

As for a non-croc bag - possibly. But I'd more likely spend it on something else first...

I don't think I would feel comfortable with a $100,000 bag.

I wouldn't, but only because I think you can get an insanely cool crocodile bag for a lot less. Even if I had gobs of money, $100k seems way too high for a bag. But that said, if I wouldn't miss it, I'd probably fork out $20,000-$30,000 for a bag. {And I wouldn't turn my nose up at the pricier bag if someone decided they wanted to give it me, lol!!}

LOL I knew it. Hermes... they're the only ones with that kind of ridiculous price tag.

But I WOULD NEVER spend that much on a single handbag, when I could take that money and use it for something more worthwhile, and buy a lifetime supply of bags instead. H bags are okay looking, but they're not for me. $99K is a huge chunkload of dough.

My price limit for any bag would be $1.6K at most. Maybe less.

I really doubt it. I'd put other things first, like houses, cars and savings. A bag like this one would be way down on the totem pole.

I do not think I would but you never know. Many TPFers do and I so would love to be one of them.. Some wealthy woman would never spend 1000 on a purse so its all relative.

absolutely. If I could afford it(not go into debt and still be able to be a foodie/restaurant hopper and raise a family, have a house etc, pay the bills easily(health, school etc)), I would! I have had my eye on a Croc Hermes for a few months now....but haha, those will have to wait until..hmm..I don't know..a long time...

I guess I have to think it over around 99,000 times if I should buy it or not. That's a lot of money to pay for a handbag....and even if I have the money, I still need justification why I should pay $99,000 for a bag.
