Default What's Your Favourite 'Dump' Bag?

My preference in bags varies, depending how I feel. But lately I've been reaching for roomier bags. And especially since a friend called recently. She was carrying a black, very roomy, leather, open-top bag. That day I was carrying a semi-structured suede Prada satchel. My friend said, 'I love this bag! I can just dump loads of stuff in it!'

Then she proceeded to empty out the (considerable) contents of her bag. As she was doing this she glanced over at my Prada satchel and said sheepishly, 'Of course this is just a Prada replica I picked up in Turkey for 50 euros!' When I told her a realtive was going to Turkey next month she said, 'Tell him to get himself down to the Prada replica store!' I don't think so somehow!

But the next day I whipped out my Gucci Monogram tote. Although I haven't used it in years I'd say it's probably my favourite 'dump bag' now. Do YOU have a favourite 'dump bag'?

my Balenciaga Sandstone giant gold hardware weekender is the ULTIMATE dump bag. I can carry everything from a weekend away to just my daily needs in this bag and no matter how much I pack her full she always looks gorgeous. It was a very pricey bag but considering how much I have carried it and the use I get out of it, it ends up being now only 4.50 everytime I carry her.

I really don't have a dump bag. This one is about as close as I get. It is really a good sized bag and not the least heavy, since I pack all of my files, clip boards and volunteer work in it. It was getting difficult to pack the items I needed in a big dark bag. Here I can find everything I need. The center zip pocket that I keep my wallet and cell phone in, is sandwiched between all the other stuff, so it's not visable to everyone around me.

I really love it.

Chanel Coco Cabas. Big, unstructured, open top (has a snap closure, though). I can fit the world in this baby.

Prada Cervo Antic Drawstring Tote.

Mine's a different color, but I love it for the ability to fill it with junk. I'm a new mom, and I can throw stuff for baby & me in it. I also like that it has a light-colored lining, so that I can actually see all the stuff I've dumped in there.

all of my bags are dump bags because they are all huge, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE my L.A.M.B. Devon Tote in Saddle, however, since I have this passionate love affair going on I don't treat the bag poorly. When I want to knock-around and dump than I use a scribble print Coach beach tote.

Marc by Marc Jacobs Faridah, which is deceptive because it slouches, but is indeed very roomy.

My go to 'dump' bag is my Giorgio Brato tote. It's got handles for handheld use and a super long messenger style strap for when I need to be hands free.

I have a Cynthia H brown leather tote with the most amazing brocade lining that I use when I know I will be putting more than just my usual stuff in there. I was just reading about Cynthia H yesterday.....she seems to be related to George Clooney, and I thought that was kind of cool because I never heard of her anywhere before. I just liked the bag.
