I'm seriously thinking of purchasing a black, leather "quilted" handbag. I had a gorgeous Chanel one that I bought back in the 80s at the rue Cambon boutique in Paris. It was a limited edition that was only made to be sold in France.

However, I outgrew it as I had purchased it before cell phones and electronic organizers were in, thus back when I needed less space. But, I sold it and got back more than I had originally paid for it.

I've been looking at black, leather, quilt handbags for over a year

now and it's not easy. However, I think I have finally found THE bag. It's the black, small, Cecilia handbag by Marc Jacobs and is at www.nordstrom.com. What do you think?

Had to google for pics but.. Oooohh! That MJ is Beautiful!! I'm not usually a fan of the Stam style but this one is gorgeous. She is a cutie. I love the full size one too. Excellent choice, can you take some modeling pics?

CONGRATS on the bag, btw.

Thanks for pulling the photo up. I wasn't born into the computer generation and have no idea how to do all of these different functions. LOL! I'm used to just typing info into search boxes to pull it up.

I've seen a lot of Marc Jacobs handbags, but have never bought one because I've personally just found them a bit overkill. But, the above one I find more refined and not so flashy.

And then the black, quilted, Chanel bags I've found boring, over the last few years. Nothing has really sparked my attention. Maybe it's because I've been buying Chanel since back when the dinosaurs roamed the earth...the 80s, while in my mid 20s- early 30s. Kind of been there done that with us dinosaurs. LOL!
