I had a super wonderful experience with John Kosora, who is a sales supervisor at the Tom Ford boutique in Vegas. He was extremely helpful and very patient. Also, according to John, the flap over zip bag was released in two sizes (mini and regular) and only two colors (black and brown). The regular, which previously retailed for $3900, has been marked down to $2990. This is not a sale price; it appears that Tom Ford increased production for this bag and and is now passing the lower costs /better deals they're getting for materials, etc. to its customers.

Really the price has been lowered.. I just purchased on from NM and I will send it back if I can get the same bag at that price:)

I know where there is one that is $3500 I believe it is the small that is the size I got. PM if you want info:)

Yup, they still have both the black and brown at $2990. Hope u have as good an experience with him as I did - have fun shopping:)

Oh, they also have the hobo (non flap) version in brown at 50% off! Would have gotten it if I didn't already have the brown flap over.

I saw that Bluefly had the zipper over flap again this morning:)

Just to add that the bag for $2990 (previously $3900~) looks to be same size as Julianne Moore's from the previous post's link. The size is approximately 11.5"H x 14"W x 3.75"D.

I want to thank you for the info too. NM sent me the wrong size flap over zip bag and they did not have any left in the smaller size. I contacted John and he was wonderful and he got me the size I wanted within 24 hours and at a much better price $2750. He also has the TF bag the looks like a Hermes Bolide on sale sale now for $1750. I will purchase all TF from him. Thank you:)

Oh, you're welcome. I hope you enjoyed dealing with John. You're going to love the hobo! It's just so beautiful and so easy to use. It looks like it could fit all the daily essentials and more. Plus, the price can't be beat. Congrats on a wonderful buy!
