Default Taking 2 bags to school? Opinions. ^^;

I will be starting summer school soon (just so I can graduate early!!) and I plan on bringing my laptop to my classes.. I was wondering if it would be awkward to bring my juicy couture daydreamer satchel (not the tote) along with a tote bag/messengerbag that carries my laptop/books? ^^;

Would it be like I'm carrying 2 big bags? xD

I would consider carrying just 1... but everything I need fits into my purse and everything else fits into the tote bag.. xD

Does anyone else do this?? XD Regardless if it's for school or work or what not! ^^;

Not awkward at all unless it feels too cumbersome for you. I do think its a bit strange when women carry purses along with back packs though.

At work I see a lot of women carry a purse and their laptop bag so I don't think its awkward. It makes it easy to go out after work to run errands or go to dinner without having to switch from laptop bag to purse.

Really I used to do that not for fashion purposes but bc I had too. The backpack carried all my school stuff and everything else went into my purse so after class I can take my purse straight to work and whatever thats the only reason I would carry another bag other than that its just me and my backpack. Plus I see a lot of students who do that so it is very common and I don't think its strange at all. Come to think of it I actually carry two bags to work one cotton canvas? tote I got at urb a long time ago during my college days as my lunch/misc. tote and my purse.

i do that all the time since college.
when i was i college i carry a smaller bag for my essentials and one big bag for paints, tons of pencils, sketch book, etc

now i carry a smaller and prettier bag for my essentials and one bigger for my laptop and documents.

sometimes i even have 3 bag straps on both of my shoulder if i carry a camera in its case LOL

When I'm at school, I sometimes carry a backpack and a purse. I do feel a little weird doing that, though, so I try to just carry a purse and carry my books in my arm.

Not weird at all. I did that for 4 years in college and more in high school. I never mixed purse and school bag...just didn't feel right, and inevitably I would forget something in the other bag.

Nothing wrong with a purse and a school bag regardless of the size.

The main thing is as long as you are comfortable in carrying two bags.

At University i only used one bag, but on my post grad course i've been using my Chanel flap for little essentials and a colourful tote to carry my files and books.....i find it quite helpful as it's easier to organise and seperate things. Although i am now on the look out for one huge bag that i can chuck things in for the summer lol
