Hi everyone,

I am brand new to these forums, pretty new to designer purses, and I'm hoping you might be able to share some of your knowledge. I have been dying for a new everyday purse. My current purse is a brown leather Fossil Gabby Shopper, which I have been using for about a year (I've never keep the same bag so long!).

Requirements (some negotiable):

Price under $300 or $400
Probably black leather
Structured bag so I don't have to struggle with it to get stuff in/out
Multiple sections (like Fossil Blackburn for example, but less plain)
Outer sections would be used to easily slip things in and out like file folders, netbook, magazines
Inner, zippered section for things like wallet, keys, cell phone
Able to carry over shoulder

Any ideas? I feel like I have been browsing purses for weeks and I keep changing my mind, but never finding the perfect one.

The leather is excellent and it has tons of pockets. You can probably find it for less from other online sellers too.

Linea Pelle Dylan. You can usually get it for 20-25% off at various sites, like Luna Boston and that brings it under $400.

have you checked out Tano yet? They make an amazing black... lots of structured backs with pockets and are very functional! Musthavebag.com has a good selection... good luck finding your new bag!

Thank you all for the suggestions. I've found a lot of new bags I'm interested in! It's a tough decision.

The one that is currently sticking out in my mind is the Linea Pelle Dylan Zip Tote because of the multiple sections.

I'm going to try to mull it over for a few more days :) Thanks again for your help.

I just got my Dylan Zip Tote and I LOVE IT. The sections are HUGE, which works for me since I use this thing as a carry on (magazines fit perfectly into the two outer compartments), and sometimes as a briefcase with a few files/paper swatch books. Even I can't fill this.
