Default Seeking *objective* opinions on this brown Prada bag

Hello all! I am looking to get some much needed **objective** opinions on this brown Prada Cervo bag. By objective, I guess I mean I would like opinions from those who aren't typically Prada forum frequenters. =) Just looking for a simple Love/Hate answer and if you might be kind enough to post a comment as to why, that would be great, and very much appreciated!

But Gung, what if I feel indifferently about it? I don't love it but I also don't hate it. Some of the Pradas in the more regular rectangular shape, look fabulous, but this one to me is just okay.... however I wouldn't turn it down if my hubby gave it to me, after all, Prada leather is apparently fabulous.

GUNG - Hi there - I have one Prada bag - which I used for an age - and she is currently 'resting' in her dustbag.

This one - I like the shape, and the long shoulder strap is useful IMO. Not sure I like the 'Prada' logo on it - but its a minor issue. I think if I had this - I'd use it everyday - and I'd know that it would stand up to my throwing it around a bit. I think - given some of the Prada bags I've seen lately - this one is pretty plain, serviceable and won't date.

So all in all - I like the shape, and the shoulder strap. Would I buy it? Probably not - but I don't hate it.

I voted "hate it" because I don't particularly like it. I don't like the shoulder strap on it other than that it's perfectly fine, but it's a rather basic shape and the design is nothing special all over to me. So I would wait and go for something more special.

I'm a bit bored of these Prada bags and I've always disliked the big logo on them

I voted hate it as well - Im not a fan of the color, and the straps confuse me. Like the shoulder strap looks awkward and the short straps look almost too short for resting in the crook of your arm.

I love it. The lines are simple, elegant and clean -- yet still unique and interesting. The antiqued leather is a nice touch - gives it an edge and personality without making it trendy.

You've gotta be kidding. It's drop dead gorgeous. A no brainer. These cervo bags have been among Prada's best in recent years. The leather is TDF. And a classic bowler style like this could be cherished for a lifetime.

(For the record, I'm not a Prada diehard. I own one Prada bag right now, along with Chanel, YSL, Gucci, Fendi, Dior, Jimmy Choo, BV, Marc Jacobs, Ferragamo, Tod's, Mulberry, etc...)

I voted "I hate it" but I don't. Think it's alright, but it doesn't quite pop. But I guess it's alright as a staple... Can think of so many bags that just scream "LOVE ME" though - and this, to me anyway, isn't really one of them? (But it's not by any stretch of the imagination ugly)

I like it!! It has a classic shape, great colour, and is a style you can wear forever. I love the dual straps as well, gives you an option to hand carry or wear messenger style. I think it's a great classic bag.
