Question Searching for an "affordable" purple bag

Seems like there are a few of us here today who have been bitten by the purple bag
bug

Since I'm not sure how often I will use this bag, I'm more inclined to purchase a less expensive bag, maybe around $200 or so. It doesn't even have to be leather. I just want a fun, purple bag! I would prefer a shoulder version.

Any suggestions? I already googled and looked at the usual suspects- lunaboston, AE, etc but nothing came up.

Thanks so much!

I was in Macy's yesterday and saw a deep purple leather handbag that reminded me of a RM mini and it was on sale 25%. I think it was made by Calvin Klein. It had double handles. Here's another purple that Macy's is carrying by Calvin.
$178 - It can be ordered on the net at their site.

Thanks! I was just on the Macy's site myself and saw this bag:

It comes in eggplant. Hard to tell the true color. Also, I think the style is sort of boring.

That's close to the color, but not at all the style of the bag that I saw. As I said-it looks like the Rebecca Minkoff Mini, kind of boxy with two handles.

Thanks JNH14! I'm not into RM...well, except for a Nikki in purple!

Hi momo43! I saw that one but it's not the shade of purple I'm looking for. That's a bit dark for me; I *think* I'm searching for a brighter purple. Thank you though! I'm sure I'll find it soon.

Hi JudieH! I'm bitten by the P bug too...

This may be a bit late, but if you're still searching there is this Raspberry Pyramis by Ted Baker (http://www.tedbaker.com/)

It comes to about $240 - Vat deduction essentially pays for shipping fees. I have 2 TB shoulder bags and the leather is super light & comfy but very durable... Both ordered from the website & arrived within 3 working days (UK to Australia!). HTH!

not to be the TJMaxx advocate but i can definitely recall 2 vibrantly purple leather handbags that were just a bit under 200 that i can't remember the names of. i even fell in love with one of them! although i've been lookin for a purple leather handbag for like a year haha, if you check out TJMaxx Marshals and any other type of store like that you'll probably find what you're lookin for!

Thank you guys! I did go to Annie Sez's yesterday (a store like TJ Maxx) and they did not have any purple bags! I did see the bag that Urban Outfitters is selling that is on backorder but they only had black and a rose colored one, not the purple.

Oh well, I will keep on looking!

Vinyl, where did you see the second one? Do you know the brand? Even though it's out of stock, I want to find that one, beautiful!

Thanks!

How about this Bliss Lau from Funkylala......final sale, now at $175.00 - was $563.00
Think there might be a discount code around for them????

http://www.funkylala.com/product_inf...roducts_id=439

Yes, it's huge. There's also another size available on their website - small bag.
Good luck hon!
Oh - is the color too dark? Let us know so we can find a "brighter one" as you mentioned before.
We'll keep a look-out for you!
