Default Please help . . looking for a gray bag. need suggestions!!
I posted a recent thread on a gray anya hindmarch bag, and like most posters I agree the bag is 'okay' not necessarily a love love situation for me. I've been having a hard time finding a gray handbag though, do you have any suggestions? i don't want a chanel flap in gray (although it's absolutely gorgeous) because I don't think it's very practical. I want something larger, more for everyday use. I still want it to be elegant though. Have you seen any stand out gray handbags as of late, or in the past I might be able to track down (ebay etc..). I really haven't found one that I *love* and have to have, my reaction most of the time is just 'meh'. I'm open to any suggestions . .

price range is 2K or less

Thanks!

Have you checked Alexander Wang, one of the new colors is grey and he has some great styles.and the leather is insane on them.

I'm in love with the Lanvin Amalia! (It's $1475 btw.)

I tried to find a variety of shapes and sizes,
some of them are more metallic than gray:

The last bag is a color called Ferro which is a steel gray and a TDF color IRL.

I am in love with this Mulberry Bayswater in gray suede:

If it didn't rain so much here, I'd snap it right up!

Aside from the Amalia tote above, there is also an Amalia shoulder bag by Lanvin that I really love - it comes in a larger size and a smaller (I have the smaller and find it perfect for everyday at least for my purposes)

Other than that, Belen Echandia has several styles you can choose from and has a couple of beautiful greys. Many rave about the dark grey matte leather while I have a tote in Taupe glossy that I really love (it is more like a warm grey). There is a beautiful dark grey glossy and light grey glossy as well (the glossy leathers are almost like patent, very hard-wearing and have lots of character).

My last suggestion would be Balenciaga - they seem to be coming out with Anthracite every year and also have a lighter grey color out.

My suggestion is Belen Echandia...you can bespoke a bag for well under your price cap...and customize hardware, lining etc to fit your dream bag!!
