I've had plenty of bags my husband did not like. I usually just carry them because I love them. I did sell one that he had such a strong reaction too. The adjectives he used to describe it weren't even words that he normally used. It was very specific. I put the bag away for awhile (I told him he hurt her/the bags feelings). I eventually sold it.

If my hubby did not like any of my bags I would not sell it. It's for my liking, not his. I am not in high school anymore, I dont need to be insecure and hear comments about what I wear, nor will I accept it and rule to his favor because it doesnt suit him.

I have one he hated the moment I took it out of the box. It made me think of exchanging it, for a day or two. But that's it. I realized "I" like it and it's my purse. Took him a couple weeks to be at least indifferent every time he sees that purse but he doesn't say anything anymore now so it seems like it worked out right for both of us. He just needed some time to get used to it.

no freakin' way! now, if i wore a perfume and he didnt like it, would get rid of it...but my bags are my business....i don't tell him what kind of briefcase to carry! AS IF! LOLOL

I don't think his opinion would make me get rid of a bag, but I do listen to what he has to say. Sometimes his opinion may keep me from buying something...

I wouldn't get rid of a bag I loved just because my SO doesn't like it. I might suggest though that he buy me a bag he does like
