Default Opinions/suggestions for beach tote?

I've found this large tote at Gap, and I love the style (wider at the top than at the bottom) and size, but I'm not so hot on the prints available.
http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do...scid=497204002
I also like this one, although they don't give measurements it appears to be of similar size. However, I don't know that it is worth an additional $30, especially since I'll only be using it as a pool/beach tote or a tote for the farmer's market.

Any opinions between those two, or does anyone know of any other similar bags in a similar price range? It is just the shape and size I am looking for, since it will have to be large to put three towels in and the wider at the top style makes it easier to see and find things in it.

^J. Crew always has cute totes. Sometimes a good place to look is Target. I haven't looked at Target in detail, but I seem to remember seeing some cute beach bags there when walking by that section of the store.

JMO... I always buy plastic/vinyl pool tote bags like this one...
Click here: Target : 2-in-1 Tote - Floral with Turquoise Trim

My kids are always throwing wet pool toys, towels etc. in it and canvas ones seem to get too dirty too fast. I like the ones from Target because they are 2 in 1, have cute patterns (mine has swimsuits all over it and lime green trim ). Because it's vinyl...it hangs on a hook in the garage until we go to the pool. I love the ease of it and because it's so cheap, I don't feel bad replacing it if I find one that I like better!

vera bradley straw totes- my sister and i think they are quite cute. - not in your price range, but cool.

In your price range, I think the LL Bean tote bags are a great choice! Not sure what Target has to offer this season, but they too have nice things.

Hello! I am stationed at Fort Meade here in Maryland and this place at the Annapolis Mall (blue heron bags) has some great canvas beach totes in some really cool prints available. You can check out their online stuff at www.blueheronbags.com I told the girl there last week to post something here about their stuff...very nice. Best of luck!!!

Thanks for all the suggestions! I'd be happy to go higher in price if I found something I really loved, but I also know this will be a bag that will see wet pool areas, dirty vegetables and lots of sticky kid hands! So it can't be so precious that I will want to baby it!

I will look through the suggestions you have given. Thanks so much for your help!
