Opinions Pls, Is a large patent black bag weird to wear in Summer?

Hey guys, I need some advice. I really want to invest in a large patent black shoulder bag, but I would like to be able to use it past the winter time to carry books to uni - Would you wear black patent in the Spring or Summer?? TIA!!

PS, I have my eye on the Botkier Black Patent Sasha

I know this varies from person to person, but when I think of patent I think of spring.

Black patent is my favorite, I just bought a YSL downtown in cushy quilted blk patent and I intend to use it all Summer when my outfit calls for black. I will also be travelling with it.

I love black patent and wear it year-round.

A closet is not complete without black patent pumps and a structured black patent handbag.

It's shiny - it's crisp - it's bold. Wear it!

i had the same reservation when it came to my black patent histoire. According to some sources they say black patent should not be used in the summer as well as animal prints. who cares? if you love it, use it.
