Anyone knows is sahara more golden or more nude (matte beige) color irl? Thx
The one I got appears more *taupe* to me. It looks like a color that will go with just about anything. I was very pleased.

Thanks for your response. I think that the Hayley will probably be a better choice--especially since DH tends to toss his stuff in as well. I'll be sure to update once I "get the goods."

I'm having trouble deciding between Hayley and Paige. I carry mid-sized wallet, small appointment book, large sunglasses case, eyeglass case, cosmetic case, phone, keys, travel pack of tissues. I think that the Paige will handle all of those items; I just worry about it bulging. Any advice you ladies could provide would be helpful. TIA!
I don't have Paige but I do have Hayley and think you could hold a lot more than that in Hayley. To give you an idea, I am able to carry a small notebook, checkbook-sized wallet, cosmetics case w/tissue pack, keys, phone, and sunglasses in a soft case all in the external pockets of Hayley. Then the inside is free for a pair of shoes when I get to work, my lunch, an umbrella, etc. It would work for you as it doesn't feel like a big bag to me, but you will have a lot of room left over.

For those of you who have a baby jane:

Can you fit a 3-ring binder in a baby jane? I know you can fit one in a jane, was wondering about the (slightly) smaller-sized version.

No. I have Baby, Jane, and Kate, but Baby would only fit something like a magazine.

I figured the baby wouldn't since a 3-ring binder fits in my Jane (but without much room to spare on the sides); thanks for the confirmation. Considering how a 3-ring binder just barely fits into the Hayley (and it's a bit of a struggle), I guess it's the Jane or the Belle for me.

I want to get my first MZW bag after eyeing them for quite awhile now. I've never seen one IRL though.

I am leaning toward a Baby jane because I don't carry a lot and I think it will be a good size for me. I *really* really love the looks of the 5 yr birthday Jane though, and keep telling myself maybe I should start with that one instead.

Do you think both the original & baby work fine as a shoulder bag? Is the full size much heavier than the baby? I recently had back surgery so that is another reason I want to switch to nylon. My lovely leather bags are still more strain than I want to deal with.

I personally prefer baby jane. I have some shoulder issues and baby is lighter and more comfortable for me.

I have both and the Jane is definitely a work-tote size bag. If you don't carry a ton of stuff then I think the Baby Jane would be enough-I carry very little when I am not going to work and there is plenty of room when I use it on weekends. I have not noticed a significant difference in weight, both are light.

Hmm...now I'm thinking Hayley will be too big. My Tod's measures 14"wide, 12" tall--and looks more like a bookbag on me than a purse (I'm short). I definitely want more of a purse look. I was looking at the mz wallace website and Hayley measures 14" by 11"; while Paige measures 12" by 9.5". I wish I lived near a store that carries this brand to see IRL...

Can someone with Paige help me out by listing what you typically carry in it? TIA.

Finally saw these bags in person today at Nordstrom (after looking at a gazillion pics and reading through this board more than once), and I am now the very happy owner of a Black Bedford Jane. It is beautiful!! Thanks to everyone who posted on this board, your comments were all very helpful!

For the person above who is looking at the Hayley and Paige - I was going back and forth on them the same way you are. (and then ended up with a Jane!) I have to say, after seeing them both, the Hayley is a great bag but it is very large and it just felt too big for what I carry and not purse-like. The Paige is great, but for daily use I felt like my stuff would juuuust fit with no extra room. (The amount of stuff that I carry is pretty similar to what you listed, plus a kindle and a notebook, and I like to be able to throw a small umbrella in my bag if needed). I am not sure whether or not it would bulge, but it seems like with my Jane, when I put things in the pockets they just meld in because there is enough room inside (not sure if that makes sense). So it might be OK. There are pictures on the MZ Wallace facebook page of the Sienna Hayley (on March 7) and of the Sahara Paige (on Feb 28), and they are really representative of the sizes. I ended up with the Jane to use for every day, but I hope to eventually get a Paige for weekends/day trips/etc., when I'm not carrying everything. It's a really nice bag.

Glad you found a bag shape/size that works for you. I've been carrying lots of MZ Wallace this summer.

I am actually looking forward to fall a bit. I have not been wearing any of my black Mz Wallace bags over the summer and it will feel like christmas when I bring them back out.
