Olivia Harris on Ebay

There's a listing for the Olivia Harris Round Turnlock Hobo starting at $209

Yesterday a bid ended for the same bag, but in Camel, for $199.

Is there anyway to tell if these are authentic. Has Olivia Harris been around long enough to be replicated already?

I have a camel one and this black one looks okay to me. I didn't realize that Olivia Harris was Joy Gryson's line.. Just the warning though, I find the magnet in mine isn't very strong and the bag doesn't like to stay closed.

i wonder then, if "Olivia Harris" is to "Gryson", what "Marc by Marc Jacobs" is to "Marc Jacobs", or what "DKNY" is to "Donna Karan".

Gilt recently had a huge sale on the olivia harris bags.

i picked up a black zip top hobo for 109.

the quality of mine is very nice.

maybe alot of people that purchased from gilt are reselling on eBay.

I don't think it is Joy Gryson's line - I think it is by the same company that Gryson is under. Please correct me if I am wrong...

I haven't seen any fakes yet of the Olivia Harris bags.

I haven't seen any fakes of this line either. I am currently using the OH bag I just got from LB. I love it... I haven't read anything about it being Joy Gryson's line either. Hmm...

I have this tote in brown. I agree that it doesn't really stay closed, but I really like it as an everyday messenger bag; however, I wouldn't use it for travel b/c I prefer the main compartment to be more secure when I'm traveling.

I think that Olivia Harris is done by people who used to work for Gryson and do freelance design work for other companies.

Looks like an everyday type of bag. Personally nothing to exciting. However I would pay the $109 but not $495!
