I am really going to miss Goldenbleu, but at least I managed to snag a few bags before they were all gone. I really wish I hadn't missed out on the jordan.

On a happy note: I finally got my Goldenbleu in the mail today - Tiffany Patent Amethyst. Holy crap this bag is larger than I thought it was...but I like it, lol

^^ me too! i only have the tiffany in carbon, but i really like the clutch a lot! w/ the going out of business sale, i picked up a mercedes in amethyst and an alba in nero. i have wanted the mercedes for awhile, and for $15 i couldn't go wrong w/ a bag like the alba even if you can see through it. i will miss GB a lot. i thoroughly enjoyed fawning over a number of their bags.

Too bad they're going out of business. I really feel sad for all those companies going down. I haven't seen any of their bags IRL so I'm excited to get the 12 bags I ordered from their site. Half of them will be gifts though. Curious to see the quality of their transparent bags. They look nice IMO, esp if you have the LV mono accessories inside to show ;-) I got 4 clutches - emerson woven patent butterscotch, emerson yellow patent, mercedes black leather, mercedes woven patent navy. I heard the quality of the patent is really good, but anyone can share the quality of the leather? Anyone have the original price for the mercedes and emerson clutches with the suede lining? The website is saying $399 and I am just curious why there is a big difference with the others with the grossgrain lining.

That's unfortunate that Goldenbleu is going out of business. I missed the fantastic sales on the website, but I already have 6 of their clutches! There are some great deals on Amazon right now if you missed out on the sale. I bought the Rachelle in navy/silver/plum and am waiting for it to be shipped.
Toni, are you still loving your Carson? I'm tempted to buy one but I am wondering if it will be too big, as I usually don't carry too much in my bag. Congrats to everyone who snagged something from the website! |
