Anyway, I just tried calling that number and it's for the office. Like the 888 number, they claim that they're on the other line, so please leave a message. Seriously, at this point, I'm considering that I should just keep the clutch and not bother with anything else. I don't know if I would even order anything or buy any more GB stuff in the future. I mean, how big of a business expense can it possibly be to at least hire one (just one) person to answer e-mails and phone calls?
Sorry for my vent. |

Just leave a message or send an email and they WILL respond to you. I know it's frustrating but they will respond.

Yay, Mui-Hai FINALLY responded... around 5:30 or so. This is what she had to say about the multi-toned petrol. "Thank you for your emails. The Tiffany Petrol leather is intentionally created to have variations and differences. The leather is made specially for us from our tannery in Italy; all color patterns are created to make each separate piece individual and unique. Thanks again! Best, Mui-Hai" Honestly, I think mine has more variation than expected... ![]() But I feel much better knowing it's intentional. Although, at the risk of being whiny, I think that would be something they should note in the product description, like clothing designers who'll say each shirt, for example, is one-of-a-kind and intentionally multi-toned. Oh well. Problem solved! ![]() My colleague at work, who's familiar with leather and working with it, said that it possibly came from another cow or another part of the cow. Just like with human skin, different areas of the hide absorb dye differently. |

Just ordered my first Goldenbleu - the Rachelle in navy (similar to the Tyler clutch) and I can't wait to get it. I'm also interested in the Charley clutch in water and I'm also facinated by the Daniella bag (with the scarf). None of these were on the GB site.
Also, I don't know if anyone has been there, but 6pm.com has a lot of GB's on sale (not as cheap as the GB site of course), but the best part is that they have awesome photos! You can click on the multi-view under the picture (it also shows it with a manequin) and it shows you about 7 different photos of the bag. So even if you don't buy from there you can at least get a really good idea of how it looks. =) |

Congrats on your bag purchase! I don't have the Charley but I do have a bag in water and it's absolutely beautiful!

Thanks - I ended up getting that Charley clutch. Its a limited edition one with a GB logo on the front. My first clutch! I saw your bag and that fab 'gift' you received for your troubles with the GB site (well, I saw ALL your bags, but the Jordan is the one I think is in the Water?) and it looks lovely.

Amethyst Tiffany back in stock. Now I wonder between Tiffany and Margot for the school secretary. Margot gets such high reviews, too. If I got Tiffany, she and I would be bag twins, not that it matters either way. Or would you want to not see your bag around town?

Get the Margot, poor Margot, she's not as popular as Tif.

I just asked her a question and said, "I didn't ask you this, but for handbags are you more casual or dressy." She said "casual. I won't ask why."
So Margot. Hoping she stays in stock until payday. I will collect money to pay for her and fill her with gift cards, but I need to get her asap so she is available, which mean paying up front, which means payday.

I finally just ordered the Tiffany clutch in Seaside.
I am not familiar with this brand at all and learned about it on TPF. Hope I love her.
