My Sophie showed up today. Wow, I should have paid better attention to the size. It is huge and weighty! I do so love the smocking on the sides, but I am a bit overwhelmed by it so far.

The bag is beautiful...the smocking is wonderful! It is very big, but it doesn't look too big on you.

Did anyone get a Caldwell? I'm curious about this two in one bag and would love to see pics of it.

I just got off the phone with one of my cousins and I "took" her to the GB website. She bought the Amethyst Emerson and the Red Tiffany for herself and she added the Water Patent coin purse for me. I wanted it but didn't want to pay $10 shipping...

I hope they've gotten past their phase of being overwhelmed and back to the GB that we know and love!

Oooo, fun for your cousin! Toni, I have the water patent change purse coming for Christmas and CANNOT wait! It's a great price at 29.99 (never could do 115 for a coin pouch).

Okay gang....here's my Luella in Blush.
Now that I see myself in these pics.....I have a tinge of regret gettin' this bag cuz it really looks too big for me....AND I got one for my sis in Red and I think she'll think it's too big for her as well.
Alas - the pitfalls of FINAL SALE and I have lusted after this bag for a bit.
Oh well........
BUT - I love the color!!!!
The grey-ish undertone really doesn't stand out in these pics, but it definitely is NOT just a summer color IMO!

Statement piece for sure but I think it looks great on you! But if you chose to sell it, I'm sure you could recoup what you paid...I would keep it though...

Does she have a suede lining?
Is the attached to the front bag the same size as the Mercedes?

dcblam ~ That bag is so pretty, I wish I would have gotten it. It is a really big bag, but I think that after using it you will get used to it. It looks good

I worry about bags being to big too, but after using them for a while they don't seem as big. If that makes any sense.

hey toni-babe....
You're right, it is a statement piece.
The Luella does have a suede lining, hence giving it a bit of heft!
The front piece IS Mercedes....only sewn into the side. I wanted to make sure so I took my Carbon Mercedes are sized 'er up.....same dimensions.
Only difference - my Carbon is not lined in suede - thank goodness!
I prefer to feel that lovely patent leather without so much stiffness.

Alas - gotta show you guys this pic of me......cuz I forgot that I have a hat that's the same Blush color!!!!
